How crazy was the reaction that Paris gave AJ Styles?
It was insane, for sure. The French sure love AJ. They had me humming their song for a couple of hours after the show.
Will CM Punk ever take creative control of NXT one day?
My guess on that is no. First off, Paul Levesque isn't going anywhere any time soon (unless things drastically change). Beside that, it's a full time, mega job that basically becomes your life. I don't know that he wants that.
So Becky low-blows CM Punk, costing him the match. Then he spends an awkward amount of time looking at a fan's sign about AJ Lee. Tonight he tells Becky that she'll regret putting her hands on him. And this Friday's Smackdown is in Chicago. There's no way this doesn't lead to AJ's return, right? Is it a done deal?
I can’t say it’s a done deal because I don’t have confirmation of that but it absolutely seems like they are setting up her return. I hope that they have her signed because if they don’t, they are setting up the fans for disappointment. There is no one else that makes sense that can, as Punk said, make Becky regret putting her hands on him. Yeah, they set up Rhea Ripley as a back up plan, but they need AJ to return to really make this pop.
Any update on Acme vs. Coyote?
After WBD chose to use it as a tax writeoff, it was purchased by Ketchup Entertainment earlier this year and has a global release date set for August 28, 2026.
