Any update on Acme vs. Coyote?
Yes, the film has been saved and will be released theatrically in August 2026. Ketchup Entertainment purchased the film from WBD.
Why do you think so many old school moves are never used anymore - side Russian leg sweep, atomic drop and reverse, back breaker, full nelson, sleeper or even a bear hug and many more.
I think those moves are used, but they aren't finishers or big spots anymore because there's a world where highspots and dives are almost transition spots, so the old submission or transition spots aren't even considered anymore. If someone put work into making them important, they could conceivably work but I don't see anyone across the board being willing to roll back the clock, even if you could make an argument that it would be beneficial.
I’ve noticed that almost every week now, a WWE show opens with a segment a babyface(s) or a heel(s), which leads to a pointless main-event match. Why does WWE do this?
They believe it will drive the audience to watch the show and they don't think it's pointless. That's pretty much it. They are in a grind where they have to create content and this is the formula they are using.
Why wouldn't WWE have Drew McIntyre on the European tour? I know you mentioned in past he's expected to book a Hollywood role. Was it possible he was filming?
I checked around and he wasn't filming anything during that tour. It was just that Drew wasn't booked.
There's a lot of wrestling outlets, good and bad, and I can notice regularly a great amount of them either outright stealing or re-writing your news, often with zero credit. How do you not lose your mind over this?
I try to block it out. I realized a long time ago that every instant I spend worrying about that means I'm distracted from doing my job, so I'd rather focus on doing the best job I can do. Hopefully, my faith in readers wanting to support what we do here will always pan out and those who steal or are a-holes about taking the content will end up fading out. All I can control is my work and my writing, which I'm proud of. I can't control what happens outside my office.
