The footage of fans in France acting out of line with Sheamus and Rhea Ripley, trying to get selfies or filming them scares the hell out of me. What can be done about this?
I've written about this with consistent regularity in recent months. In most cases, the issues are not in arenas but in the Street. I don't know the logistics of how they can handle this, but WWE really needs security to meet talent at airports when flying in and then escort them everywhere. If you have to put talents all in the same hotel and lock off that floor for anyone but WWE, then they need to do that. I know there's the independent contractor vs. employee issue but the reality is these talents have to be protected from even the most remote chance of something bad happening.
What can you tell me about Jeff Peterson? I recall there used to be an annual tournament in his honor but I knew nothing about his wrestling career
Peterson was the nephew of Jim Kettner, promoter of the East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA). Peterson wrestled there and also for Tampa’s Independent Pro Wrestling (IPW). He was light heavyweight style talent who very sadly was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 19. He fought for several years and passed away in November 2002 at 21 years old. I met and talked with him a few times over the years and he was a really, truly nice person who deserved far better than life dealt him.
Any update on the following cases?
Trenesha Rhaka Khan Biggers?
She has a court hearing on 10/30 in NYC.
2 Cold Scorpio?
There is a pre-trial conference set for 10/23 in Kansas City and a jury trial set for 11/3 if it goes that far.
Ted DiBiase Jr.?
There is a January 2026 trial set.
Tammy Sunny Sytch?
There is nothing additional regarding Sytch. She is sentenced to prison through 2039.
Why did AEW's TV shows from the 2300 Arena look so much better than NXT?
They spent money to bring in bleachers for the tapings, which made all the difference, in my opinion.
How soon does NXT return to the 2300 Arena now?
Never say never, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
