What do you think about the rumors of Chris Jericho returning to WWE? I get it that he spent most of his career there and he is worthy of a Hall of Fame induction. He was so instrumental to AEW at the beginning. The Learning Tree thing fell flat, but he has been off TV long enough he could come back and reinvent himself again and be a huge asset to AEW. It almost feels like a betrayal to me and I feel like WWE only wants him back to hurt AEW. Thoughts?

It's impossible to say that WWE wants him back and/or why they want him back at this time.  This all stems from Jericho liking an internet post about potentially returning and he's smart enough to know that someone who noticed that would spread it and create interest in him - and that's what happened.  Whether he goes back or not, he has fans speculating on him the same week as a major AEW PPV.  I've heard nothing about WWE interest in him, but all they need to do is keep it to a small circle and hope it doesn't get out if there is interest.  Could he want to go back for a final run?  If the money is right, I can see it.  I can see him staying with AEW as well, if the money is right.  Either way, Jericho will be happy if the talk leads to more money for him.

Any word yet on The Rock's performance in The Smashing Machine?  It seems like he's trying to get an Oscar in the previews and he obviously did a LOT of working out, etc. to transform his body.  I am wonder what the reality vs. the perception I have might be?

No one that I've spoken to in the entertainment circles have said they've seen even a rough cut of the film, which comes out in October, as of this writing.  Variety has noted he's on their list of potential Oscar nominees.  We will know very soon.

You answered a few questions about Memphis, Amarillo and Continental libraries, that got me thinking.  Has any new footage from WIIC’s Studio Wrestling in Pittsburgh surfaced?

Nothing that I am aware of.

Dustin Rhodes is currently one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara, and one-third of the ROH Trios Champions with the Von Erichs. But he's out of action for at least the rest of the year for a double-knee replacement. So, what is the deal with the titles? AEW/ROH hasn't even addressed the title situation. Are the belts stripped, replacements chosen, or what? And why hasn't this topic come up before now? I'd love to hear your take on this. Thanks for all the great work. Be good, my friend.

AEW has not yet addressed this.  My gut feeling is that they will do a tournament for the ROH Tag Team Championships.  Perhaps Sammy Guevara can team with the Von Erichs for the six-man tag team belts?

As an HBO Max subscriber, I'm wondering why AEW doesn't stream their PPV's live on MAX like they do with Dynamite and Collision? Why is it not part of the package deal?

They stated they would allow for PPV purchases at a discounted rate for subscribers, but have yet to announce the launch.  The impression I have gotten is that AEW is waiting for HBO to perfect their technology.  It's on MAX to launch that aspect.  But, it's said to be coming.

Okay, the creepy Kimber Lee questions from the other day had me thinking.  I remember your excellent article on how wrestling needs stronger security to protect from fans that lack boundaries.  My question is how often do you get these creepy questions from these whackjobs? Something had to really inspire you to write such a powerful article.  I see on message boards some of the creepiest stuff, like people defending Chris Benoit, or people telling stories about how this wrestler was a jerk for not signing something at the airport.  Does it ever make you worry that one day one of these emails will be the next person arrested for stalking?

There are always a ton of questions in the Q&A section but I don't think the majority are as weird as the Kimber Lee guy writing me a different question every day for three weeks.  I decline to answer anything I find truly creepy or obsessive.  I don't worry about any specific authors as much as I do worry in general for talents, especially female talents who live their lives in a fishbowl because of the nature of their job and social media.
