It’s Wednesday and AEW Dynamite was recorded earlier today in Glasgow Scotland at the OVO Hydro. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Bryan Danielson.
We start off with Will Ospreay and a microphone. He says this is one of the worst months of his life, and he is glad the crowd is there to cheer him up. He tells a story of his early days wrestling on a Scottish Indy and his love of sausage rolls. Which starts a chant for sausage rolls. He says that because of what the Death Riders have done to him, he is going to need neck surgery. He says he has not been cleared for Forbidden Door, but since it is an unsanctioned match, he can wrestle without clearance. He says before they take a scalpel to him, he will take a pound of flesh from Jon Moxley.
Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta come out through the crowd. Mox gets into the ring and motions for Yuta and Claudio and as they start to get into the ring, he mocks them and tells Mox if he wants to get rid of him to do it himself. Claudio and Yuta start to get into the ring and attack but they are met by Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight and all three brawl until Hiroshi Tanahashi hits the ring.
Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight
Mox and Tanahashi start by throwing hands. Mox grabs an arm bar and tags in Claudio, who starts throwing uppercuts. Yuta is tagged in and Tanahashi and Yuta fight back and forth until Tanahashi grabs a kick and gives a dragon screw to him. Tanahaski tags in Speedball and gets a missile drop-kick on Yuta from the top and then hits more kicks, followed by a shooting star press and a two count. Yuta gets a Samoan drop for two and Claudio is tagged in. Claudio gets a scoop slam and chokes him on the second rope.
Marina Shafir pulls Knight off the apron and kicks him and she…is…outta here!
Claudio gets a giant swing, and Knight breaks it up with a drop-kick and Will Ospreay comes to the ramp, grabs Shafir and carries her to the back as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Knight has been the babyface in peril. After Claudio jacks his jaw at Tanahashi, Knight gets a drop-kick on Claudio and then a thrust kick on Mox before getting the hot tag to Tanahashi. Tanahashi works over Yuta and ends it with a senton off the second turnbuckle for two. Speedball keeps Mox and Claudio from attacking Tanahashi, and Knight joins in as well as Tanahashi gets a sling blade on Yuta.
Tanahashi’s team all get Twist and Shout on the Death Riders. Gabe Kidd, Drilla Maloney, Clark Conners, and Robbie X rush the ring to distract the ref and knock Tanahashi on the top. Yuta joins Tanahashi on top. We see Ospreay with a body bag on the ramp. Tanahashi hits the high fly flow for the pin and the win on Yuta.
Winners: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight
Tony Schiavone is in the ring to talk to Adam Copeland, and the crowd sings Cope’s entire entrance song after the music stops. Christian Cage then comes to the ring, and gets a pretty good reception, despite Cage’s lackluster reaction to his reunion with Cope last week. Cage starts with his normal “Sit down and shut your mouths while I conduct my business” but Cope stops him. Cope says that Cage is what he is and what he is an a$$hole. Cape says sometimes you need an a$$hole and Cage is his.
Tony asks if Cage has found himself, and he says he has. He found he doesn’t need to change anything and he is perfect the way he is. Cope’s facial expressions here are awesome. Cage says they are not on the same page, but they are writing in the same book. Cage says this is not a happy reunion, but a necessity. He will help Cope with his FTR problem, and Cope will help with the Nick and Kip problem. He then says that this version of Cage will be the best tag team partner Cope has ever had.
This brings out Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne, and Kip says that Cage is pathetic. We then get a video of Nick Wayne, who says he was injured last week and Cage broke his foot. He says if he could be at Forbidden Door, he would have taken Cope and Cage’s career from them, and then says he is always one step ahead.
We then get a video for the return of Luchasaurus. He comes from the back and charges to the ring. Kip tries to sneak into the ring and Cage attacks him as Cope attacks Luchasaurus. Cage and Luchasaurus are left alone in the ring and Luchasaurus choke slams Cage, leaving him and Cope planted in the middle of the ring.
We then get a quick video of Mark Briscoe saying he is looking for MJF.
The Death Riders and Gabe Kidd’s War Dogs attack. As Ospreay yells at them, the Young Bucks hit him with a super kick. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly attack the Buck and they fight into the back.
The Death Riders rip open the body bag, thinking it’s Marina Shafir, but it was Darby Allin, who attacks as Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs rush then Death Riders. They all fight into the crowd. As they brawl, Darby hits a Coffin Drop from the mezzanine on everyone.
We then get a hype video for the feud between MJF and Hangman Adam Page.
Ricochet and the Gates of Agony are in the back and MJF shows up and asks them to help him take care of Mark Briscoe since they all have issues with him. Ricochet agrees.

Dax grabs a mic and tells the crowd to respect Stokely as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Brody is busting open and he gets a hot tag to Bandido. Bandido runs wild, fighting both members of FTR and gets a two count on Dax. Both Dax and Cash are back dropped to the floor and Bandido dives. FTR catch him and slam him head first into the apron, which I hear is the hardest part of the ring. Stokely puts on Bandido’s mask that they stole last week. Dax beats Bandido down and then rolls Bandido into the ring.

Bandido gets out of a Shatter Machine by hitting a DDT on Cash. Bandido sets for the 21 Plex, but Cash holds Dax’s arms. Bandido tries another 21 plex, this time on Cash, but Dax keeps it from happening. FTR gets a Shatter Machine and Bandido and Brody breaks up the pin at two.
FTR tries to set up a table on the floor and Brody fights them both. Cash gets into the ring and he tries to dive onto Bandido on the floor and instead, Bandido dodges, Cash goes through the table and the time runs out.
No winner: Time Limited Draw.
Bandido hits the 21 Plex on Dax and covers, but the match is a draw. It is announced that Both teams will be facing the Hurt Syndicate, and it will be an elimination match at Forbidden Door. The Hurt Syndicate comes to the ramp to stare down both groups.
Next up is a hype video for the match between Kazuchika Okada and Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door.
Hangman Adam Page is on his way to the ring for a promo. He talks about how MJF jumped him in the parking lot from behind. He says it is a waste of time to call him to the ring to get beat up because MJF is a coward. He then says MJF will only get one chance at the title and he will beat the urine out of him at Forbidden Door.
We get MJF’s music and Tony Schiavone tells him that MJF has a camera in the back and if Page doesn’t agree to his conditions to watch the video from the ring or something bad will happen. We then see MJF is holding Mark Briscoe in the back with the help of Ricochet and the Gates of Agony. He pours gasoline over Mark Briscoe and forces Page to agree to three conditions. The title can change hands on a DQ, the title can change hands on a count out, and MJF does not have to cash in his contract for the title match.
Page grabs a chair and goes to the back where he attacks Ricochet. Security pulls him off and tells Page that MJF is already gone. He nails a security guard and takes off to find MJF.
