How about that UFC deal that TKO got from Paramount?
It’s a massive deal for the company and it’s a big win for the UFC fans too. They now get to experience what we did when WWE went to the Network years ago and spend far less money for the shows. It’s a win all around, expect for the PPV industry.
Purely from a creative standpoint, which recent world title reign was worse: Cena's or Moxley's?
Both have been bad. On the one hand, Moxley’s went on forever. On the other, WWE wasted valuable time with Cena and had him beat top babyfaces along the way. I will go with Cena being worse.
Do you think WWE missed the boat years ago by not doing a WCW version of One Night Stand? I can understand why Vince didn’t do it because he was glad it was dead and buried, but I do think a dozen years ago or so it might have been something fun.
I honestly don’t have an opinion one way or the other but if he did it the right way it could have drawn some money so I guess you could say it was a missed opportunity.
Is Pat McAfee ever coming back?
I expect he will at some point but I don't see him being full time again until after the football season, at the earlies.
I noticed in all the releases and reporting so far that it appears that ESPN is only taking the PLEs. What of the rest of the network stuff on Peacock? That being used as a separate bargaining chip?
As of this writing the other WWE/NXT PLEs plus the Network content is out there to be sold. They could be a package or sold a la carte. I think that they will be sold to someone and WWE will further maximize the return on what just used to be The WWE Network. It’s great business on their part.
