Is AEW ALL IN in the United States or UK going forward?
Next year, they are back at Wembley Stadium. Coldplay had the stadium during the dates AEW wanted this summer, so the show was brought Stateside, which actually worked in AEW's favor since we hear they received a rights fee from the city of Arlington.
Are you sure YouTubeTV isn't included in the WWE PLEs on ESPN?
As of this morning, it is not - and that is according to ESPN itself. I would think that they will lock in additional deals, including potentially YouTubeTV, by April 2026. Long way to go.
Has there every been a clear indicator of who owns the Memphis Library?
No, there's no clear cut indicator. Jerry Jarrett once told me during an interview that he felt his rights to the library ended when he sold his side of the company to The Selker Group, who were the final owners of what was CWA/USWA. Obviously, they shut down a long time ago. One could argue that WMC had a piece of the library but they obviously don't have the tapes. Jerry Lawler would also likely be able to make a claim but there is no real library - just a cluster of fragmented tapes. There's no official master library, since WMC, Jarrett and Lawler would recycle tapes.
Any word on who may own the old Continental tapes as well?
Those tapes are likely owned by David Woods or his estate, if they even still exist. The fact that no one has tried to bring them forward into any sort of DVD/streaming platform, etc. makes me think that whatever tapes are out there are dispersed to the winds. That was an incredible promotion. If there is any material out there from prior to Woods owning the company, my guess is that whatever material would be owned by the Fuller family, but again, my gut is there isn't much out there, if anything. That's a shame but that was the reality of TV back then - and why there's not much footage from Southeastern Championship Wrestling, Portland Wrestling, California, etc. out there either. It was all junked over time.
Last question: Amarillo tapes?
I asked Terry Funk many years ago about this and he indicated that when his family sold the territory, the tapes that were saved were junked by the time he went to go see if he could retrieve them. I don't believe there is much out there, if anything.
