I thought Cardi B was a big WWE fan. Yet, was featured for about 90 seconds on night 1 and she went ghost for the rest of the event. What was the point of her hosting if she barely appeared?
That's a great question. I wondered the same thing. I don't have an answer but it sure didn't seem like she really cared about appearing because she did almost nothing.
Is it time to have a female be the lead play by play or lead commentator on a major wrestling company? I’m speaking specifically a role that Michael Cole has now. I think so. Your thoughts?
I think if it happens organically, that would be great. I wouldn’t force it though. As we have seen with a long line of dud announcers that have worked for WWE it’s not an easy job, not by a long shot. They have a great team in place now. I wouldn’t upset the apple cart but when a replacement was needed, I would definitely consider a woman for the job.
Seth Rollins fakes an injury so that he can cash in his briefcase. However, the injury had nothing to do with cashing in. He walked to the ring uninjured (something he could have done without a fake injury) and still could have beat CM Punk. He could have had Breakker & Reed beat down Punk then crawled with his knee brace on into the ring and pinned Punk, then revealed afterwards that he was no injured. It would have more of an impact.
Yep, they could have for sure.
Am I missing why there was a "need" to fake an injury in order to beat CM Punk? Seriously, it made no sense. Why a fake injury that had no role in the outcome?
To me, the injury was more “work the smart fans” than work the casual fans. It could be that they were filming it all for WWE Unreal. HHH really relished in the shocking nature of the John Cena heel turn in March, as was shown on Unreal. But to be fair, they did mention the “injury” on TV as well so it wasn’t like it wasn’t part of the storyline.
Did you watch Paul Heyman's appearance on Helwani and see the AI video he showed at the end? It was amazing.
I did and like Helwani, I was blown away by what I saw. When Heyman said that everything in the video was all AI generated I was amazed. I can also see why people in Hollywood are so scared of what the future could be for writers and actors. But back to the point, I was impressed big time by the video.
