SPOKESPERSON FOR JANEL GRANT ISSUES STATEMENT ON BROCK LESNAR'S WWE RETURN

By Mike Johnson on 2025-08-04 13:28:00

A spokesperson for Janel Grant, who is currently suing WWE and Vince McMahon, issued the following statement on the company's decision to bring Brock Lesnar back last night at Summerslam:

"For far too long, abuse was allowed to thrive unde WWE's leadership. Instead of righting this wrong, WWE has done nothing to ensure those responsible are held accountable. This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire. We look forward to the full set of facts, including those about Mr. Lesnar, coming out in a court of law where they belong but, in the meantime, we refer you back to Janel Grant's updated complaint, which outlines, in detail, the abuse she endured by McMahon and others while employed at WWE."

Lesnar was named among the allegations by Grant in that lawsuit, which alleged that Grant was offered to Lesnar sexually to entice Lesnar to sign a new contract with WWE during the Vince McMahon ownership era.  The lawsuit remains ongoing before The United States District Court of Connecticut.

Details on the aforementioned Amended lawsuit.
