7/29 NWA POWERRR ON ROKU CHANNEL PREMIERE REPORT

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s coverage of NWA Powerrr for July 29, 2025! Scheduled for the Roku premiere show is the following:

*NWA World Television Champion Carson Drake vs. Bryan Idol

*The Lost vs. EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth

*BFT with Aron Stevens vs. The #12 Seed from the Battle Royal

*David Crockett Invitational Tag Team Battle Royal - Winner gets the #12 Seed in the Crockett Cup

The episode opens up with a video package about the NWA and the Crockett Cup.

David Crockett Invitational Tag Team Battle Royal - Winner gets the #12 Seed in the Crockett Cup

Stone Rockwell tries to get order between all the nine tag teams. The JV Squad wants nothing to do with it, but they get double clotheslined by The Beastman. Things break down between all the tag teams and they start to go after each other. Beastman hits a cannonball on three men stacked in the corner. Right after that, Stone Rockwell gets eliminated, so The Temple of Duum have been eliminated

The Slimeballz club down on Joe Ocasio. Mr. Grim clubs at Big Daddy Adrianna and eliminates her (and therefore her teammate, as well) as the show goes to a break.

Bryan Idol cuts a quick promo on Carson Drake during the break - saying that Drake won’t get away with anything this time around. 

Back from the break, South Philly’s Finest get eliminated. Ty Awesome and Shawn Carlson were also eliminated during the break. Joe Ocasio (and therefore his teammate) gets eliminated. Grim and Moses double team Sam Stackhouse and send him to the floor between the ropes. Eric Smalls hits Grim and Moses low and then hits Moses with a caterpillar into a leg drop. Dalton McKenzie picks up Smalls and tosses him over the ropes, but Stackhouse catches Smalls. Stackhouse places Smalls on the apron, but Size Matters gets eliminated when McKenzie and Jack Vaughn kick Smalls and Stackhouse, which sends Smalls to the floor.

McKenzie and Vaughn work with Grim and Moses to isolate The Slimeballz members. The partnership doesn’t last long, though, as Grim and Moses are sent to the floor by the JV Squad. The JV Squad slams Chantz and then Tommy Rant. The JV Squad try to throw The Slimeballz over the top rope, but both Slimeballz members land on the apron. The JV Squad charge after them, but The Slimeballz both low bridge them. The JV Squad lands on the apron. Rant stuns Vaughn over the top rope and Chantz dropkicks Vaughn to the floor.

BFT with Aron Stevens vs. The Slimeballz

The match gets started right after The Slimeballz’ Battle Royal win. BFT charge to the ring (without Aron Stevens). The Slimeballz rush at them and get in some shots, but are cut off with clubbing shots. Carnage charges at Rant in the corner, but misses. Damage tries, as well, but eats a back elbow. Rant goes after Damage, but Carnage cuts him off. BFT hits a double suplex on Rant. Damage grabs Chantz and the bell finally rings for the match to start.

Chantz leaps over Damage and avoids him in the corner. Chantz hits an enzuigiri in the corner and climbs to the top rope. Damage catches him and hits a clothesline. Carnage tags in and hits a series of shoulder attacks on Chantz in the corner. Damage tags in and slaps on a bear hug. Chantz clubs at Damage’s ears and breaks the hold. Chantz tries to tag in Rant, but Carnage pulls Rant off of the apron. BFT sends Chantz to the corner. Carnage hits a running strike and Damage hits a slam on Chantz. Damage climbs to the second rope as Carnage holds Chantz. Rant gets in the ring and chop blocks Carnage. Chantz rolls up Damage for the win!

Winners and advancing in the Crockett Cup Tournament: The Slimeballz

Aron Stevens argues with the referee after the match. Baron Von Storm makes his way to the ring as Stevens continues to argue with the referee. Storm slaps The Claw on Stevens and laughs as Stevens lays limp in the hold. Referees come out to try and convince Storm to break the hold. Soda Pop Hendrix comes out with a mini globe, which makes Storm release the hold and grab hold of the globe.

Father James Mitchell is in the back with The Lost. Mitchell says that the Crockett Cup is the most prestigious prize in tag team wrestling and it will be going home with The Lost.

Kenzie Paige, Mims, Hunter, Silas Mason, Tyler Franks, and Tommy Henry arrive at the NWA Territorial Headquarters. Joe Cazana comes down the stairs with AJ and KC Cazana and welcomes everyone to the newly renovated building. If they like the building, wait until they see his office…

The Slimeballz are outside the 2300 Arena and claim to be the next winners of the Crockett Cup. BFT had no chance and The Slimeballz will be taking the Crockett Cup back to Slimeball City. It’s Slime time!

The Lost with Father James Mitchell vs. EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth with Pastor C-Lo

Crazzy Steve and Alex Misery are representing The Lost, with Gaagz the Gymp and Lev on the outside with Father James Mitchell.

EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth go right at The Lost and then EC3 and Steve square up to start things off. EC3 drives Steve to the corner and then another corner. EC3 whips Steve across the ring and charges in. Steve gets a boot up and then slaps on a tarantula variation. Misery tags in and stomps on EC3. Steve tags in and works EC3 over. Misery tags in and gets whipped at EC3. Misery then slams EC3’s head into two turnbuckles. Misery hits a shoulder to the gut and then a sunset flip on EC3 for a one count. EC3 hits a throat thrust on Misery, but Alex shakes it off and hits an enzuigiri on EC3. 

EC3 rolls to the floor. Pretty Boy Smooth goozle Misery, but Alex shakes it off and then hits a springboard dropkick on EC3 who made his way to the apron. Misery goes for a dive on Smooth, but Smooth catches him in mid-air and pulls him down on the top rope. EC3 gets a two count and then tags in Smooth. Smooth clubs down on Misery and then tosses him across the ring. Smooth sends Misery to the corner and hits him with a big overhand chop. EC3 tags back in and hits Misery with a shot to the midsection.

EC3 chops Misery and then tags in Smooth. Smooth slams Misery and then slaps on a nerve hold. Misery hits a jawbreaker and then ducks a clothesline. Misery flips over Smooth in the corner and then goes for a springboard move, but gets caught out of mid-air. Smooth hits a modified STO and tags in EC3. EC3 grabs a chinlock, but Misery bites him. EC3 tugs Misery down to the mat. Misery hits a jawbreaker on EC3 twice and then tags in Steve.

Steve comes in hot and dropkicks Smooth off of the apron. Steve snapmares EC3 and then twists his neck with his legs. Steve hits a series of clotheslines on EC3 in the corner. Steve hits a running back elbow and then a cannonball on EC3. Pastor C-Low gets on the apron and distracts Steve. Father James Mitchell pulls C-Lo off of the apron, but EC3 rolls Steve up. Steve kicks out at two and then EC3 and Steve double clothesline each other. Smooth and Misery tag in.

Misery ducks a clothesline and tries to chop down Smooth. Smooth pushes him off, but eats a dropkick. Misery hits the ropes, but gets back body dropped to the floor on The Lost. EC3 rolls Misery into the ring and Smooth hits a standing Blue Thunder Bomb variation for the win!

Winners and advancing in the Crockett Cup Tournament: EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth

Carson Drake is in the back. Drake is wrestling for the title he never lost - the NWA World Television Championship. Not only is he going to win the championship again, but he’s going to prove that Bryan Idol can’t beat him.

A vignette airs for Rhino.

Thom Latimer is outside of the 2300 Arena. Latimer has wrestled over twenty years and has figured out how to start taking advantage of opportunities. He was born to be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Back at the NWA Territorial Headquarters, Joe Cazana is showing off his office. Joe drones on about making the NWA great as Kenzie Paige tells Tommy Henry that she can’t take Joe anymore. Tyler Franks goes and stands by Joe and Joe says that Franks is great to have in the NWA. Joe stops talking to the group and says that Franks should be at the Crockett Cup. Joe needs Franks’ support at the Crockett Cup. Joe would love to see Franks in the crowd giving his support. Franks thinks about it.

Carson Drake vs. Bryan Idol for the Vacant NWA World Television Championship 

They lock up and Bryan Idol hits a fireman’s carry throw on Carson Drake. Idol sends Drake to the ropes and hits an arm drag and then a dropkick. Idol hits a flying knee in the corner and then an atomic drop on Drake. Idol hits a big punch on Drake who goes flying to the floor as the show goes to a break.

During the break, Natalia Markova is outside of the 2300 Arena. Next week, Markova is taking on Kenzie Paige in a No Limits Match and she’s excited.

Back from the break, Drake is taking his time getting back in the ring when Idol hits a flying kick on him through the ropes. Idol chops at Drake against the guardrail and then rolls him back in the ring. Drake grabs Idol between the ropes and hits him with a series of knees until the referee breaks it up. Drake hits a shoulder attack in the corner and then whips Idol hard across the ring. Drake stands on and turns on Idol’s face. Idol tries to fight back, but Drake cuts him off with clubbing blows.

Drake whips Idol hard to the corner again and gets a one count. Drake rains down punches on Idol and then brings him to the corner. Drake chops Idol. Idol tries to fight back, but Drake cuts him off with a knee. Idol is whipped to the corner again, but comes out with a clothesline on Drake. Idol hits a back elbow and then a flying forearm for a two count. Idol goes for a moonsault, but Drake cuts him off and then stomps on him for a two count. Drake hits a slingshot suplex for a two count.

Drake goes for a suplex, but Idol blocks it and hits an ushigoroshi. Idol tries to tie up Drake’s legs, but Drake rolls him up for a two count. Drake kicks Idol and then hits a basement Code Breaker variation for a two count. Drake rains down punches on Idol and then goes for a slingshot suplex. Idol lands on his feet and hits the Killswitch for the win!
