The show opened with a tribute to Hulk Hogan. Hiroshi Tanahashi and an official from New Japan held a large photo of Hogan and the IWGP Championship belt. The wrestlers surrounded the ring. They gave a 10 Bell Salute to Hulk Hogan.
1 - Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg vs. Daiki Nagai and Yota Tsuji
Yano pins Nagai after a Demon Killer Powerbomb.
2 - Jakob Austin Young and Callum Newman vs. Gedo and David Finlay
Young pins Gedo after hitting Jakob’s Ladder.
Young has been picking up wins recently on the undercard. He could be a player in the Junior Division soon.
3 - Masatora Yasuda and Taichi vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru and SANADA
Kanemaru forces Yasuda to tap out to a Boston Crab.
After the match, a pissed off Taichi attacks SANADA and Kanemaru and the official had to separate them all.
4 - Tomoaki Honma and Yuya Uemura vs. Dick Togo and EVIL
EVIL pins Honma after a Magic Killer.
5 - Katsuya Murashima and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Hartley Jackson and Ryohei Oiwa
Jackson pins Murashima after a Jagged Edge
G1 Climax 35 B Block Matches:
Gabe Kidd is out of the G1 Climax and the points have been adjusted for his forfeit.
6 - YOSHI-HASHI vs. Great O-Khan
Good match. O-Khan pins YOSHI-HASHI after an Eliminator.

7 - El Phantasmo vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
Another good match. ZSJ tied up ELP into knots. ELP submits.

8 - Shota Umino vs. Ren Narita
This was a good showdown between two men who are the future of New Japan. Very stiff match. Narita hits a low blow and a Double Cross. Two count. Narita hits Hells Guillotine.
Narita pins Umino.
Ren Narita has 8 points.
Shota Umino has 6 points.
Big win for Narita. It was his first singles win over Umino. Narita is getting a good push here.
9 - Shingo Takagi vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Another great stiff match. Takagi hit a Pumping Bomber knocking Takeshita off the top rope. Takagi with Made in Japan. Two count. Takeshita hits a Tombstone and a Bastard Driver. Two count. Takagi with a lariat and a Burning Dragon. Two count. Takeshita hits Raging Fire but cannot make the cover. They trade finishers. Takeshita hits the Power Drive. Two count. They trade strikes. Takeshita hits an elbow to the back of the head, a neck snap and applies the Cross Face Chickenwing.
Takagi passes out. Takeshita wins.
Konosuke Takeshita has 6 points.
Shingo Takagi has 2 points.
