Variety has a story today detailing WWE's foray onto Netflix.
The piece talked about how Raw has been in the top 10 most watched shows on Netflix globally for the 27 weeks that they have aired (now 28 weeks as they placed in the top 10 for the July 14 episode).
PLEs routinely make the 10 in countries where Netflix airs them. The piece also suggested that Netflix may want to go after PLE rights in the US when the Peacock deal expires next year.
Netflix Vice President Of Sports Gabe Spitzer told Variety, "It’s everything we could have hoped for and more. We knew going in that we’re not going to change WWE. It was more, how can we add to it in small ways, and that’s what we’ve seen so far.”
