Gabe Kidd announced at today's New Japan Pro Wrestling event that he suffered a hyperextended knee during the opening night of the G1 Climax tournament while facing Konosuke Takeshita.
Kidd was forced to miss today's event.
There is no word how long he may be out of the ring.
