Do you feel R-Truth has been "degraded" by WWE? He was the most popular wrestler weeks ago and now he lost that momentum in which I'm assuming was done by design by WWE. Your thoughts on R-Truth weeks after his "Truth Movement"?
I don’t know that I would say degraded, in fact I wouldn’t say it. But I do agree that the change in creative that they did for him has changed his trajectory. I don’t know that it was done to hurt him though. I think it is more like what they did with John Cena, they changed who he was and it has fallen flat.
Of all the shoots (worked or otherwise) that people still talk about years following their occurring (eg. Montreal screw job, Bash at the Beach 2000, the CM Punk pipe bomb, etc), one of the most memorable to me I’d argue was also one of the most forgotten…..Joey Styles and his final Raw appearance promo! I understand Styles has since moved on from the business, but am curious what the follow up to that promo was envisioned to be? Has that ever been revealed, or do you know? And given how his WWE run concluded, if (when) WWE wants to honour him with a Hall of Fame induction, do you think Joey would accept?
That was a long time ago but I don’t remember there was to be any follow up. I think if he were extended a Hall Of Fame invite he would take it.
I was watching AEW's ALL IN Texas Zero hour on YouTube and saw someone named Big Boom AJ wrestle. Is this guy a celebrity of some sorts? I think he has appeared at AEW shows in the past, but I don't know what he's actually famous for. I'm pretty good with the celebrities who dip their toes in pro wrestling, but this one stumps me.
They are “social media personalities.” I never heard of them either, but I am not the target audience for social media people and I am OK with that.
Will Seth Rollins have to give up the Money in the Bank Briefcase, now that he got injured?
It depends. If he can come back before next June he won’t have to give it up. I have been told that WWE is in wait and see mode right now, which makes sense as they have plenty of time ahead.
Do you believe Jey Uso's World Heavyweight Title reign was cut way too short?
I do, yes. I would have kept the Title on him longer if it were my decision. I think it was pulled from him too quickly.
