I just read your Q&A post from today. You answered a question regarding WWE's booking pre & post TKO where the fan asking that question asked if that also included the old-school WWE glory days. You said that the 70s and 80s did nothing for you, that you didn't like the WWWF at all, and that you were never a Hogan fan. So, I'm curious, what were you a fan of before the original ECW was created?
As I am now, I was always a fan of great storytelling, character building and realism. I first got into the business when I saw Georgia Championship Wrestling on cable back in the 70s. Then Jim Crockett Promotions came to the Philly area and that was my company. Later, Bill Watts’ UWF debuted and I loved that too.
With College Football right around the corner will Joe Tessitore still be the voice for Friday Night Smackdown? This wasn’t an issue last year because Joe did Monday Night Raw.
While I can't report this as a 100 percent fact, I have heard from a few people that the current plan is to move Tess to Mondays and Michael Cole to Fridays during football season to accommodate Tessitore’s schedule. The company loves Tess, as they should. He’s been great since coming on board.
With Penta and Rey Fenix now on the main roster, do you think it is only a matter of time before they join the tag team division?
I would expect that they work as a team at some point but I hope it's more about a storyline than making them a pairing. Penta has gotten over and it's always better to be a single than in a team.
With Slammiversary just a few days out. TNA has a chance to do something unprecedented with their WWE working relationship. I think Masha Slamovich has more to gain by winning both women's titles. Trick Williams got to win their world title at Battleground, I think it's only right if WWE gives back this time around. What do you think?
In a vacuum, yes that would be a great move for TNA. The question is does WWE want to do that? We will find out tonight.
I heard from some sources said Seth's injury on SNME is a work, the purpose of this work is to cash in in an unimaginable way, is this true?
Why are you asking me when you have sources? By the way, if I were you I would get some better sources.
