The belief among those within WWE is that they will have a diagnosis on the severity of Seth Rollins' injury within the next few days. Rollins was on crutches last night at WWE Evolution in Atlanta, GA, sporting a big knee brace. There is a lot of fear of a major injury but nothing has been confirmed yet to the best of our knowledge.
Paul Levesque noted during the Evolution post-show that Rollins will be undergoing an MRI in Birmingham, Alabama today. He is expected to be in attendance at Raw tonight.
In 2015, Rollins suffered injuries to his right ACL/MCL/medial meniscus wrestling Kane in Ireland, which required surgery. That injury forced him to miss Wrestlemania 32 that year. That would be the same knee Rollins hurt this past Saturday wrestling LA Knight.
Rollins was also dealing with knee issues leading into Wrestlemania 40 several years ago.
For those who have asked about reports this is all some sort of work, it is not - and anyone claiming such is being completely disrespectful to Rollins at this point. As we reported previously, this is not a work, there was no planned cash-in on Saturday Night's Main Event, etc.
There's no word how bad the injury is (and it could always be it was a fluke thing that will turn out not to be a long-term serious issue, depending on what the MRI says) but we are told what went down was not a work. Could it be turned into something that is? Sure, depending on what the issue turns out to be or not to be.
