After a short recap of last week’s episode and a preview of tonight’s episode, Shawn Michaels gathers everyone up and wants them to find their inner heel or babyface. He introduces Charlotte Flair, who will be helping the Future Greats with their task. Charlotte tells the Future Greats that it’s very difficult to make it in the WWE. They have to work hard and make success their ultimate goal. In order to do so, they have to find who they are in their characters. Their characters have to be authentic - not forced. Charlotte wants the Future Greats to show her who they are without telling her who they are.
The Legends talk to their teams about getting into their characters. Charlotte then wants to see the Future Greats cut a promo. Zena Sterling goes first and impresses the Legends and Charlotte. Shiloh Hill and Haze Jameson also impress. Tatyanna Dumas and Sirena Linton, who have had their ups and downs, are told they did well. Harlem Lewis and Trill London get nods of approval. BJ Ray sings a song to Charlotte and it gets a mixed reaction.
The Legends then discuss what tonight’s matches should be. Harlem Lewis (Team Booker) vs. Shiloh Hill (Team Undertaker), BJ Ray (Team Bubba) vs. Trill London (Team McCool), Tatyanna Dumas (Team Booker) vs. Zena Sterling (Team Bubba), and Sirena Linton (Team Booker) vs. Haze Jameson (Team Bubba) are all locked in as tonight’s matches. The Future Greats are shown getting ready for their matches with their Legends pumping them up. Harlem Lewis cuts a promo on Shiloh Hill.
Harlem Lewis (Team Booker) vs. Shiloh Hill (Team Undertaker)
They lock up and jockey for position. Neither man can gain control, so they break and lock up again. Lewis is able to club down on Hill, but Hill returns with a slam. Lewis kicks out of a pin attempt and Hill grabs an arm. Lewis drives Hill into the corner and works him over with punches and kicks. Hill double legs Lewis and then sends him to the corner. Hill hits a basement tackle. Lewis rebounds by slamming Hill into the corner and then clotheslining him. Lewis rains down punches, but Hill fights back with punches of his own. Lewis hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two count.
Hill fights out of a chinlock and ducks under a clothesline. They hit a double clothesline. Both men are slow to get up. As they stand up, they scream in each other’s face and then exchange hard strikes until Hill hits a series of punches. Hill hits a clothesline, a punch, and then a neckbreaker. Lewis fights back and goes for a suplex, but Hill slips out of it. Hill hits a butterfly slam for the win!
Winner: Shiloh Hill
Shiloh Hill talks about how a match should be emotional. Harlem Lewis says that the next match he has against Hill will be better and he expects to see Hill in the finals. In the back, Hill says that he’s the big dog and is coming for the NXT contract.
BJ Ray (Team Bubba) vs. Trill London (Team McCool)
Before the match, Trill London talks about how he wants to prove that he belongs in WWE.
They lock up and Trill London immediately hits three arm drags and then grabs an armbar. BJ Ray knees London to get out of it, but London hits a kangaroo dropkick. Ray rolls to the floor and flirts with Charlotte. London slides to the floor and goes after Ray, but BJ turns the tides and sends London into the steel steps. Ray sends London into the ring and hits him with a knee. Ray rains down punches on London and then kicks him in the gut. London tries to leap at/over Ray, but BJ catches him and drops him onto the top rope. Ray grabs a chinlock and brings London down to the mat.
London hits a jawbreaker and hits the ropes. London hits two forearms and then tugs Ray down during a leapfrog. London hits a basement kangaroo dropkick and then hits a back splash in the corner. London leaps up to the top rope, but the pool is empty when Ray moves out of the way. Ray rolls London up and grabs the tights for the win!
Winner: BJ Ray
BJ Ray says that he’ll cheat and do whatever he can to get the point. Trill London says that he’s going to put on a show no matter who is in the ring with him.
Tatyanna Dumas (Team Booker) vs. Zena Sterling (Team Bubba)
Before the match, Zena Sterling is worried because, apparently, only she knows what they are doing in the match.
They lock up and Tatyanna Dumas drives Zena Sterling to the ropes and then grabs a side headlock. Dumas is sent to the ropes and hits a tackle. Dumas grabs a side headlock and sends Sterling to the mat. Dumas kicks Sterling and grabs a chinlock. Dumas smack talks Bubba Ray while in the hold and Sterling fights back. They hit a double clothesline and then Sterling blocks a punch. Sterling hits a couple of running strikes and then sends Dumas to the corner. Sterling slams Dumas down for a two count. Sterling climbs to the second rope. Dumas hits the ropes, which sends Sterling to the mat. Dumas strikes Sterling for the win!
Winner: Tatyanna Dumas
During that match, Bubba Ray noticed that Tatyanna Dumas didn’t have her boots laced and zippered. The Legends talk about how the match was rough. Zena Sterling is frustrated with the match. Dumas came out of the match injured. Dumas says that the injury was deliberate and she ended up going to the emergency room.
Sirena Linton (Team Booker) vs. Haze Jameson (Team Bubba)
This match takes place in front of a live audience. Haze Jameson is excited to perform in front of the crowd. Sirena Linton cuts a promo on Jameson. Booker T and Bubba Ray are introduced to the crowd.
Haze Jameson offers a handshake to start, but Sirena Linton spits into Jameson’s hand. Linton sends Jameson to the mat and then works her over until the referee breaks it up. Jameson hits a couple of arm drags and then locks on an armbar. Linton stands and drives Jameson into the corner. They dodge each other until Jameson sends Linton to the corner. Linton kicks Jameson down and then works over her leg by dragging it down twice. Linton gets a two count. Linton ties up Jameson’s legs and stretches them until Jameson gets to the ropes to break up the hold.
Linton tries to whip Jameson to the corner, but Haze falls to the mat due to her leg. Linton tries a charging attack, but Jameson dodges it and rolls Linton up for a two count. Jameson hits a few running strikes and then climbs to the second rope. Jameson hits a high crossbody for a two count. Linton double legs Jameson and stacks her up. Linton puts her legs on the ropes during the pin and gets the win!
Winner: Sirena Linton
In the back, Haze Jameson is happy with the match. Bubba Ray thinks Jameson did well, but could do better. Sirena Linton says that everyone should be scared of her. Booker T thinks Linton is laser focused.
It’s time to award the points! Tatyanna is not part of the segment because she is receiving medical attention.
Charlotte Flair will be making the decisions on the points. For the women, Charlotte picks Sirena Linton, but was also impressed by Zena Sterling. For the men, Charlotte picks Shiloh Hill, but also liked things from Trill London and BJ Ray.
