AEW ran for almost 8 hours yesterday. I literally had to turn it off and finish it on Sunday. What is he thinking?
He is thinking that he loves wrestling and that his sickos do too.
What is your best time allotment for a PPV?
Personally, I like the 2:45 to 3 hour window. For special shows I can see going over that. To me, a show should never, ever be over four hours long.
When ECW was at its absolute highest point in popularity, did they ever think of running the Philly Spectrum?
I don't ever remember that they did. That would have been quite a leap for them.
I saw you state you prefer the current post-TKO WWE over pre-TKO. Surely this isn't including some of their best pre-TKO years (70s, 80s, 90s) is it? I am enjoying the current TV product as well but nothing compares to the glory years.
The 70s and 80s did nothing for me. I didn't like the WWWF at all. It was dull and plodding. I was not a Hogan fan or a fan of Vince booking other than the late 90s to the early 00s. Nothing that they did back then came even close to The Bloodline storyline in my view.
I just read your update about Jelly Roll working with Logan Paul at Summerslam. Normally I hate celebrity involvement in wrestling from a physical standpoint, but I'm perfectly fine with this one. I think Paul is a natural when it comes to the performance side of the business, but I just don't take him seriously as a wrestler with his limited schedule. So if JR gets the better of him in their match, it doesn't affect a regular performer and make them look bad/weak for getting beaten by a celebrity. How do you feel about JR getting in the ring and their choice of opponent?
I agree with your take, 100 percent. I don’t expect Jelly Roll to be like Bad Bunny, but he’s a star and it brings WWE publicity. I am fine with that as long as it’s not a main event match.
