It’s Wednesday and AEW Dynamite is live from Garland, TX at the Curtis Culwell Center. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz.
We start with Mercedes Mone coming to the ring for a chat with Toni Storm. Toni and Luther are on the big screen, and Mone says she needs to come out to the ring and face her. Toni then says to hit her music and she and Luther hit the ring. Luther gives each of them a glass of champagne and Mone says they should toast to her. Mone complains about the champagne and Toni tells her the performative BS is over.
Toni runs down Mone and says that in the AEW Women’s Championship belt is how she found herself, but Mone’s belts are just masks for Mone to hide behind. Mone says she will always be better than Storm. Mone puts herself over and says this match is her legacy. Storm says legacies don’t exist, and all that matters is one moment.
Toni says that Mone will go down as the one who just couldn’t win the big one. Mone goes for a moneymaker and Storm blocks it. Mone takes off and stays on the stage as Storm dances in the ring.
We then get a pre-recorded promo from Jon Moxley who says he has been beaten before, but he’s never lost a war. He says Adam Page only has one chance to prove him wrong, because this time, Page is all in.

HOWEVER, he does pity Mark’s brother because while he’s in heaven he has to look down and see what mark has become. He has to watch Mark go from being part of the greatest tag teams of all times, to a joke. MJF says if Jay Briscoe was here, he would say it should have been Mark in the car accident.
Mark attacks and they throw hands. As Mark is setting for the Jay Driller, the Hurt Syndicate comes to the ring. They are jumped from behind by Jetspeed with the tag team title belts. Mark chases MJF through the crowd. Using the belts and the element of surprise, the Hurt Syndicate is down.
