Do we really need another Evolution PPV?
To me, no. I think the women are now the equals of the men so they don’t need a show that is just for them. Men don’t have their own show.
Do you think WWE programmed this against AEW’s PPV?
No one in WWE told me that they did but if a gun is at my head and I have to be right? I would be pretty confident in saying yes, oh yes they did.
Is it a coincidence that WWE has THREE events this weekend when AEW is running from a baseball stadium?

Do you have any sympathy for Tony Khan and AEW with WWE programming three shows against them?
No, I don’t. Tony went on the attack a lot against WWE, Paul Levesque and Shawn Michaels in AEW’s early days. If you lay down the smack, you can’t be upset when the smack gets laid down on you. Vince McMahon bringing himself down was the worst thing that ever happened to AEW. Tony couldn’t have seen that coming but still, he made himself a target with his actions early on. To his credit, he has toned it down in a big way in the last year or so.
Do you think if he had it to do over again, Tony Khan wouldn’t have announced AEW in the parking lot of WWE’s show in Jacksonville?
I don’t know if he would but if I were him, I sure would have changed that decision. But, I would have never done it in the first place. I would have stayed off of Vince McMahon’s radar.
