The music plays and Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.
Bron takes the ceremonial microphone from Paul and Seth is a bit confused.
Bron says he is standing here in this ring because Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman have a vision for this business with him as the face of this business for the next two decades. He says he also has a vision of himself for WWE. A WWE without Sami Zayn. Bron says he does not like Sami Zayn. He doesn't like his ugly face, his stupid beard, his music, that you sing it. Bron says for the life of him, he does not understand why you cheer for someone with the athletic ability of a dead fish. Someone who doesn't play sports. Someone who doesn't go to the gym. Someone who can last another six years to wring everything out of the rag.
Sami Zayn has an expiration date and he is going to take care of it tonight. Bron promises Sami that if he walks down this ramp, he is going to maul your head off and you will be looking at the lights by the end of it.
Paul asks for the mic back.
Seth asks Bron if he is good and then he cackles. Seth looks at Bronson and he hands him the mic.
Reed tells everyone to simmer down. He says Bron is a tough act to follow, but so is he. He is the man who hit Seth with six Tsunamis, hurting him so badly it built a respect between them. So strong that Seth brought him into his group and his vision. He will get the respect that he deserves. Reed tells Jey that he does not respect him so tonight, he will tsunami the respect into you, just like he did to Seth Rollins.
Seth takes the mic and he does not want to talk so he gives the mic to Paul.
Paul does his introduction. He says tonight, the Empire Strikes Back. He says that is a blooper. The Empire Strikes First. First is Sami Zayn. He won't follow that promo. If Sami hasn't high tailed it to Montreal, it is his ass, not Paul's. Bronson Reed versus Jey Uso. He says he has love for Jey, but Roman Reigns doesn't have the balls to come back and step up against them. Paul says the OTC is MIA and after tonight, so will Jey thanks to Bronson Reed. Paul says the big news is that Seth Rollins will don the tights tonight against Penta. Paul addresses Penta in Spanish. He says he does not understand the stupid hand signals Penta does, but by the time he gets stomped into the mat, he won't do these hand signals ever again. That is not a prediction, that is a spoiler.
Paul gives the mic over to Seth. Seth says they covered everything so he welcomes everyone to Raw.
The Judgment Day are buffering their title belts and they are in a good mood.
Raquel wants to know what the hell is that when we see a memorial area for Liv. Raquel says she is rehabbing and will be back soon. Finn says he was out for eight months and he is tough. He says that is a nice photo. Raquel says maybe they should win the tag titles and she should beat Kairi tonight.
JD asks Finn if Pearce has told him what is next. JD suggests talking to Pearce.
Dom thanks them for the Get Well soon cake and Finn and JD say it isn't them.
Dom realizes it is from AJ
AJ shows up from behind a case and he shows Dom that he is watching him.
Dom says he has a note.
We are told that Sol Ruca and Zaria are the NXT Tag Title representatives at Evolution, but they did not win a Triple Threat Match to qualify.
Match Number One: Kairi Sane versus Roxanne Perez
Perez and Sane exchange punches and Perez sends Sane into the turnbuckles a few times. Sane avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and Sane sends her into the turnbuckles. Perez with a side head lock. Perez grabs the hair and sends Sane to the mat. Sane goes for a sunset flipish move and Perez counters into a near fall. Sane misses a back fist when Perez hold on to the ropes. Perez drops Sane on the middle rope. Perez misses a splash into the corner and Sane slides under and gets a near fall. Perez gets a near fall. Sane with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Perez with a La Magistral into a bridge for a near fall.
Sane with a figure four head scissors but Perez gets to the ropes to force a break. Perez with a slap. Sane with a head scissors and a back fist. Sane with a flying forearm against the ropes and a clothesline off the apron. Sane sends Perez back into the ring and Sane goes up top but Raquel gets on the apron and Perez pushes Sane off the turnbuckles. Perez puts the arm on the turnbuckle and stomps on it. Perez slams the wrist into the ring steps. Perez sends Sane back into the ring. Perez slams the arm into the mat. Perez uses the hair to send Sane to the mat. Perez with a wrist lock and Sane with punches. Sane with a shot to the jaw and Perez with a boot to stop a Sliding D. Perez stomps on the elbow.
Perez with an elbow to the arm as she takes Sane to the mat. Perez with a hammer lock and bridge. Sane with a flying mare to escape and Sane with a spear using her injured arm. Sane with double sledges and a neck breaker. Sane sets for the flying forearm into the corner and connects. Sane goes up top and Perez moves. Sane rolls through and Perez with a rollup and a handful of tights for a near fall. Perez with a kick and a running uppercut to the back against the ropes. Perez with a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Perez returns to the arm and she hyper-extends it. Perez misses an uppercut in the corner and Sane with a kick. Sane goes for an Alabama Slam but Perez holds on to the ropes. Perez with a single arm DDT and Scorpio Rising for a near fall. Perez puts Sane on the turnbuckles and she goes up top.
Sane knocks Perez off the turnbuckles with a head butt. Sane wit a forearm. Sane misses a forearm in the corner. Sane with an Alabama Slam and she goes up top for the elbow drop. Raquel pulls Perez to the floor. Sane with a cross body to Raquel. Perez hits Sane and sends her back into the ring. Perez with a back heel kick and tries for Pop Rox but Perez slides off Sane's back. Sane with a back slide for the three count.
Winner: Kairi Sane
After the match, Raquel hits Sane and so does Perez. Raquel with a boot. Asuka makes her way to the ring and she takes care of Perez and she hits a back fist and more strikes on Raquel. Asuka with a back fist to Perez and Raquel hits a clothesline. Sane drop kicks Raquel when Raquel tries for a Tejana Bomb. Asuka with a triangle. Asuka knocks Raquel off the apron. Asuka holds Perez and Sane goes up top and they hit an elevated elbow drop on Perez.
We take a look at Karrion Kross attacking Sami Zayn last week on Raw.
Jackie Redmond is with Sami Zayn.
She asks him how is he dealing with this. Sami says he has too much on his plate. He would love to pay more attention to his ribs, but he cannot. He says he would love to pay more attention to Karrion Kross. He says he would love to pay attention to the revenge he is going to get on Karrion Kross. He says he has to pay attention to Bron Breakker because in the ring, he is one of the most dangerous.
Scarlett shows up and Jackie asks her if she has anything to say and she says no.
It is time for the New Day Interstitial Moment of the Night.
They are dressed in black and have black roses. Kofi asks why didn't they dress for the occasion. The tag team division has died. Woods says on June 30, 2025, it was the darkest day in the history of tag team wrestling. The heist of the century happened when the tag titles were stolen from the New Day. Kofi says this is typical that you cheer crime and applaud theft. He says that Providence is the ass of New England. The wrong will be righted when they get their rematch.
Pearce is with American Made. Pearce says that Grande Americano has a match tonight and Brutus says that cannot be possible because Chad is hurt. Julius slaps Brutus in the head.
Ivy asks for a spot in the battle royal and Adam puts her in the match.
Asuka comes into the office with Kairi.
Adam says that Asuka and Kairi get to be the Raw Representatives for the tag title match.
Nikki Bella says it has been a few weeks and things have changed. She says she did not expect to get into an altercation with Liv Morgan. Liv questioned her legacy and attacked her. Nikki says that lit a fire in her. She wants one more moment to prove herself. She wants to prove to her fans what she can do. She says she will be in the battle royal. She says she will do whatever it takes to win. She wants that match in Paris and she says you face your fears and build on them. She will make history again and she will prove why she is fearless.
