With so many international stars in WWE and AEW, do you feel the recent ICE and Immigration arrests will soon hit wrestling companies that has signed performers who are on work visas and may be here on temporary statuses (although my be here legally)?
In different time, I would have said no way. In this day and age? Nothing would shock me now. I would guess that Julio Cesar Chavez wasn’t expecting to be deported after his fight with Jake Paul. I would be leery if I were a non-citizen right now, whether I was a pro wrestler or not.
Did you watch Randy Orton's interview with Steph McMahon? Thoughts?
I did. Randy came off great (as did Steph with her questions). I have a ton of respect for anyone that acknowledges their mistakes and works to become a better person. But more than that, I have major respect for Randy sharing his battle with panic attacks. When someone in his position shares his mental health story with the world he can help so many people by letting it know that they are not alone. It was a very powerful thing to watch.
This is not a question about what a woman chooses to do with her body or how one wants to present herself in their personal lives. This is a question about TV characters wearing costumes on a TV show: Are the exposed ass cheeks getting out of hand, or is it just me?
I hadn’t noticed so while it might not be just you it’s not me either.
I’m sure Kevin Knight and Mark Bailey are nice guys… but, really? Why is Jet Speed being presented as a threat to the Hurt Business? Is Tony Khan living vicariously through them, a little man finally standing up to the bullies?
I can’t usually explain Khan’s booking on any level. After all, he lets The Young Bucks act like The Road Warriors. In a company that does that, anyone can be a “threat” or “bully”.
I say this with the least amount of disrespect possible, but is Michelle McCool the most overrated wrestler of all time? She was a solid hand, won a couple midcard titles, had some good storylines and some bad ones, and that was it. She had the same career trajectory as Bob Holly, Stevie Richards, and Lance Storm — all three of whom would deserve a WWE HOF induction before her, if we’re being 100% honest.
I feel your disrespect. With that said, I found her to be solid as a wrestler. The HOF? Well, it has never been 100 percent merit based.
