We see Solo Sikoa in his vehicle but Jacob Fatu greets him with some punches and then he takes care of Tonga and JC.
Fatu has to be held back by security and warned by Nick Aldis.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring with his crown.
Cody asks the people of Pittsburgh what do they want to talk about. Cody says before he talks about King of the Ring, he wants to talk about a fan in the crowd who is fighting leukemia. Cody praises the crowd and he talks about what the crown stands for. He says he left a piece of himself in Columbus against Jey Uso for this. He left a piece of himself in Saudi Arabia against Randy Orton. It is about where we have been and where we are going. He mentions other Kings of the Ring. We are going to the main event of SummerSlam. He will be facing John Cena.
Randy Orton’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Randy says he told Cody he would do whatever it would take to win in Saudi Arabia and that he would not hesitate. He says he had Cody down and beaten and he was ready to rearrange his skull. Randy says he hesitated but Cody did not. He says Cody pulled the trigger. Randy says he respects Cody for that. He says there is one thing he asks of Cody. He promises Cody that he will not squander this opportunity and go to SummerSlam and kick John Cena’s ass.
Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage.
Drew tells them to shut up and he says they sound pathetic. When did the Beta Male energy take over the WWE? He says thank God the Alpha is back.
Drew tells Randy he lost because he hesitated on the kick. He lost the psychological battle months ago when Cody talked about how much he respected him and then he got stabbed in the back. Drew mentions Randy’s back and he asks him about when he tweaked the back and how someone came after him like a shark smelling blood in the water. You couldn’t do it when you had the chance? What happened?
You were kicking Hall of Famers years ago and Drew says he had to save everyone from you. Drew says that Randy Orton is dead.
Drew turns his attention to Cody. He says he wants Cody to win at SummerSlam so he can be the next WWE Champion. Drew says this is a match he wants. This is twenty years in the making. They have parallel careers. Drew says he wants to be the one to rip it out of your hands. Drew says he won’t hesitate . . . unlike somebody.
Drew turns around and Randy gives him an RKO.
Randy leaves the ring without saying anything else to Cody.
We see Nick Aldis with Charlotte Flair and Charlotte asks about a title match and she asks if Tiffany picked her for Evolution.
Nick says Tiffany gets to pick her opponent but he has an opportunity for a tag title match at Evolution. He tells Charlotte it will be against B-Fab and Michin, and Piper and Alba.
Alexa shows up and says they don’t have to be friends but they can be tag partners.
Charlotte says she doesn’t like to share the spotlight
Alexa tells Charlotte she hasn’t been in the spotlight for a while.
Nick tells Charlotte he is doing what is best for her. He asks Charlotte if Tiffany is really going to pick her for Evolution.
Drew tells Nick he isn’t going to rant and rave. He says Randy struck first and he wants Randy.
Nick says he cannot do that because Randy has left the building. He says Drew can face Randy at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Jacob Fatu shows up and he stares at Drew before Drew leaves.
Nick tells Jacob he cannot fight Solo and his crew. He tells Solo if he can find a tag partner he can face two of them.
Jimmy Uso shows up and says that Jacob has a partner.
We get catchphrases.
Match Number One: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair versus Alba Fyre and Piper Niven versus B-Fab and Michin in an Evolution Tag Title Qualifying Match
Piper, Michin, and Alexa start things off and Flair tags herself in. Piper knocks Alexa down and Flair with a forearm to Piper and a boot to knock Fab off the apron. Michin it a waist lock on Flair and Flair with a back elbow. Piper grabs Flair and Flair with chops. Michin with chops and forearms to Flair. Flair with a kick and Michin with a back heel kick to Flair and a round kick to Piper. Michin with a rolling kick to lair. Flair with a Flair flip and kick to Michin on the apron. Piper knocks Flair off the apron and Michin with a suicide dive in the general area of Flair and Alexa. Piper with a cannonball to Michin and Fab.
Alba with a double jump senton onto everyone else.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Piper with a back senton to Flair for a near fall. Piper misses a back senton on Michin and Fab tags in. Fab with forearms to Flair and a punch. Fab with a thrust kick to Piper and an enzuigiri to Flair. Fab with kicks to Piper and Flair. Fab goes for a neck breaker but Flair counters and clips her. Fab kicks Charlotte into the corner and Alexa tags in and she hits shoulder tackles on Alba and hits a dragon screw on Fab. Alexa with kicks and knees to Alba and a drop kick to Fab. Alexa with a blockbuster to Alba. Alexa sets for Sister Abigail on Fab but Michin with a thrust kick to stop Alexa.
Alba with a destroyer to Michin. Fab with a uranage to Alba. Piper with a Black Hole Slam to Fab. Piper helps Alba up and Alba goes up top but Alexa pulls Alba off the turnbuckles. Flair with a spear to Piper and she goes up top for a moonsault. Flair pats Alexa on the top of the head and the referee considers it a tag. Flair with a moonsault onto both and Flair kicks Green off the apron.
Alexa with Twisted Bliss for the three count.
Winners: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss
After the match, Charlotte realizes what she did at the end of the match, and she hugs Alexa.
Nick Aldis is in HALLWAY with Non-Wyatt Relevant tag teams and he yells at them for getting involved.
Ciampa says everything they have done has been to save the tag division. Gargano says they were put into an impromptu match
Frazer says they had fun watching them lose.
Nick makes the tag match for Frazer and Axiom to face Andrade and Fenix.
Nick tells everyone else that they want a piece of the Wyatts. He says one member of each remaining team will be in an eight man tag match while the non-competing members will watch the match with Nick. He says if the Wyatts win, they are back in the tag title picture because they are not going anywhere.
No one wants to listen to Gargano as they walk away.
Match Number Two: Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis versus Humberto Carrillo, Chris Sabin, Johnny Gargano, and Montez Ford
Gacy and Humberto start things off and Humberto with puches. Gacy with a waist lock and Humberto with a springboard cross body after blocking an O’Connor Roll. Humberto with a clothelsine but Gacy with a clothesline and a back senton for a near fall. Gacy with an Irish whip and Humberto floats oer and he hits a springboard back elbow. Lumis tags in and Humberto with a round kick. Lumis tosses Humberto to his corner and Gargano tags in and he says he has everything and will talk some sense into Lumis.
Gargano gives a thumbs up and Lumis with an uppercut and a uranage for a near fall. Sabin breaks up the cover and Howdy comes into the ring. All eight are in the ring at the same time. They pair up and throw punches. Rowan grabs Humberto and Gargano but Sabin and Ford stop him. They hit many super kicks including a quadruple one. Ford with an enzuigiri to knock Rowan off the apron and he kicks Rowan. Rowan catches Ford off the apron and Lumis with a super kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Gacy tags in. Gacy with a clothesline to Ford and a punch. Lumis tags in and he slams Ford and Gacy power bombs Lumis onto Ford for a near fall. Lumis works on the neck. Ford powers out of the hold but Lumis with a punch and he knocks Gargano off the apron. Sabin tags in and he punches Lumis and he goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Gacy tags in and Sabin with clotheslines and a head scissors take down. Sabin with a back body drop to Lumi and he sends Howdy and Rowan to the floor. Gargano kicks Lumis in the corner and Gacy knocks Gargano off the apron.
Sabin with La Magistral for a near fall. Ford sends Lumis to the floor along with Gacy. Ford with a flip dive onto Lumis and Gacy. Humberto is sent to the floor by Howdy. Howdy leans in the corner after escaping an O’Connor Roll. Howdy with a uranage and Rowan is tagged in. Rowan with a spinning heel kick to Ford and he knocks Humberto off the apron. Rowan runs into a boot and Sabin with a tornado DDT.
Gargano gets on the apron and Sabin goes to make the tag but Gargano goes to the floor and Rowan hits a splash to the back and follows with a running cross body and a claw slam for the three count.
Winners: Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis
Giulia says she knows what the title means. One by one, opponents will come to her and one by one they will fail. She says she did not get here by luck. Giulia says blue flames don’t flicker, they burn everything down. She says she’ll take this title where no one has dared to go. No Mercy. No Doubt, No Frear. With fire and fury, her way. Whoever is next, stp closer. You’re about to feel the heat of Beautiful Madness.
