NWA filmed episodes of Powerrr at WEDU PBS Studios in Tampa, Florida for the lead up to the NWA 77 taping on 8/16/25 in Huntington, New York. The studio taping was sold out with additional chairs brought out to accommodate attendees. The commentary team was Joe Galli, Danny Dealz, and William Patrick Corgan.
Kylie Page defeated Gabby Forza
Carson Drake defeated Midas Black via submission.
Kyle Davis interviewed Carson after the match. Carson ran down Colby Corino including making mention of Steve Corino. Carson and Colby seem ready to face at NWA 77.
NWA Women’s World Tag Team Title Match
TV MA (Tiffany Nieves & Valentina Rossi) (c) with Miss Starr defeated Clara Carter & Sirena Veil to retain.
Silas Mason defeated Cristiano Argento
Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor joined Silas Mason in the ring for an interview by Kyle Davis. Silas spoke on Thom Latimer and challenged him for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA 77.
The Pope Elijah Burke came out. He discussed being invited back to NWA and he is here for the gold. Mims came to the ring. Procrastinator. NWA National Heavyweight Champion Mims came to the ring. He mentioned how inspirational Pope was for him early in his career and commended Pope. He would turn more against him and say that Pope isn’t on his level. Pope challenged him right here right now to a match but Mims walked out.
EC3 & Pretty Boy Smooth defeated Cam Fox and Kai Price
EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth were interviewed by Kyle Davis after.
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Alex Taylor (c) retained over Luke Kurtis
The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana and KC Cazana) with Joe Cazana defeated The Rewind Society (Samuel C & VHS)
The Country Gentlemen attacked the pair after the match. Tommy Henry and Hunter came out for a save but Hunter got laid out by the Country Gentlemen
NWA World Television Championship
Bryan Idol (c) retained over Daisy Kill. It was mentioned earlier in the taping that it was Bryan’s birthday and he was given happy birthday chants from the crowd.
Mike Knox & Trevor Murdoch defeated Shawn Carlson & Tyler Hastings with Eric Smalls. Knox & Murdoch would verbally berate Eric during the match.
Eric Smalls got in the ring and spoke about what Knox & Murdoch did to him at Crockett Cup. Tonight he wants a a match against the two of them. Trevor says it is on.
Rich Swann defeated Alex Misery with Lev and Father James Mitchell. NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Alex Taylor replaced William Patrick Corgan on commentary for the match. After Rich got the win, he stood on the turnbuckle looking toward the announce table with an exchange of words between he and Alex who remained at the announce table.
Eric Smalls and Knox & Murdoch were in the ring for their match but the match never began. Knox would hit a running crossbody on Eric. Knox & Murdoch would lay out Eric with a High Low combination.

Non-title Match
The Pope defeated Mims
Mike Mondo and Slade ran to the ring and attacked Pope after including Mondo hitting Pope’s knee with a chair. Referees attended to Pope helping him to the back.
Zyon with Joe Cazana defeated Tyler Franks via submission after help from Joe Cazana hitting a low blow on Tyler with Joe’s book allowing Zyon to lay out Tyler for the win.
Natalia Markova defeated Kelsey Heather
Colby Corino defeated JAC
Aron Stevens and Carson Drake came to the ring. Aron said Colby will always be in his father’s shadow. Aron commended Carson Drake for listening. Father James Mitchell came out. He calls Aron a liar and Carson a coward and con artist. James Mitchell said one of them has to go and it will be Aron. Aron accepted James’s challenge. He said tonight Blunt Force Trauma are wrestling in Dubai. Aron said he will get a team to face James’s team and they will get it on.
NWA World Women’s Championship Match
Kenzie Page (c) retained over Karissa Rivera. Natalia Markova replaced William Patrick Corgan on commentary for this match. Kenzie and Natalia had an exchange of words with Kenzie in the ring and Natalia at the commentary table.
Tommy Henry & Hunter defeated The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & KC Cazana) with Joe Cazana after attempted interference by Joe Cazana went awry for his teaming leading to Tommy Henry getting a roll up on KC Cazana for the win.
Mike Mondo & Slade with Aron Stevens defeated The Lost (Alex Misery & Lev) with Father James Mitchell. Aron Stevens posed with Mike Mondo and Slade in the ring after their win.
Kerry Morton defeated Dillon McQueen
Trevor Murdoch with Mike Knox defeated Eric Smalls. The stipulation for the match had one of Knox & Murdoch standing on the floor with one arm tied to the ring ropes. Mike Knox had his arm zip tied to the bottom rope. At one point Mike Knox clubbed Eric on the back leading to Trevor getting the win.
Damien Fenrir defeated Nic Swift
At this point, William Patrick Corgan thanked the fans in attendance. He made mention of the fact that he wanted to be here for the tapings before he flies to England to see Ozzy Osbourne’s last musical performance later this week.
