Spotlight Match: Nat Castle vs Liviyah
It’s been a minute since I’ve seen Nat Castle work. Some good stiff chops and kicks coming from her. Liviyah fights from underneath until she boots free and hits the showstopper for the win!
Match 1: Georgio Lawrence vs Sammy Diaz (w/ Brother Greatness)
Holy S*** this starts hot as hell. Sammy and Georgio are kicking the crap out of each other. Lawrence gets some good stuff in but the crowd rallies behind Top 5…slingshot stunner almost ends it! Lawrence takes the eyes, bulldog! Sammy kicks out! Huuuuuuge Frogsplash from Diaz could end it but Georgio rolls out! We have less than a minute to go! Sammy throws him back in, Whiffs a swanton! Georgio keeps rolling out and Diaz is getting frustrated. He keeps trying to finish it but Lawrence keeps slipping out and lets the time limit expire.
Brother Greatness HATES this. He asks Sammy to come back in. He wants to know why Sammy isn’t shaking people’s hands right now. Diaz says Lucas Chase broke his trust of other people. Sammy wants another go with Georgio.
Match 2: Wonderboy Brian Morris vs Handyman Jake Gray
Morris has the physique and he is trying to put a hurt on Gray. The crowd loves Jake though and hate seeing him put through the wringer like this. Great power shown but Jake finally reverses into a tornado ddt. He tries to get the job done but Morris rolls him up with a handful of overalls! Noooooo! Loved this one.
Match 3: Erik Chacha vs Brett Mettro
Chacha has been on a good run lately here but it seems his role tonight is “being fed to the Barricade”. Erik lands a set of stiff Cha cha kicks but Mettro picks him up and rockets him down with a powerbomb. Instead of a pin, Brett opts to choke Chacha viciously. Mettro hits a senton and thinks it’s over….Chacha weakly kicks out! Brett squeezes him with a bear hug. He tries a F5 but Chacha hits legdrop out of it! Holy s***! Brett finally catches him in a crossbody and a world’s strongest slam ends it. I enjoyed the hell out of this one too!
Brett wants a microphone. He wants a piece of Pedro Dones for next week! And it’s gonna be a STREET FIGHT!!!
Match 4: Brad Baylor vs Milo Mirra
We like pogo sticks but Baylor likes disappointing us. Brad is showing off for us but Milo is cracking him back at point…but this is a LOT of Baylor. Milo tags him with a superkick! Blockbuster for two! Headkick and he does the pogo into the ring! Baylor dodges the spinal tap follow-up and Baylor hits a cutter for the win. Solid match here!
Match 5: A-Game Joseph Alexander vs Oxx Adams (Discovery Gauntlet)
Oxx has PRESENCE. He’s a BIG BOY. A-Game goes right at him, chops and headkicks. Oxx eats it. Big powerbomb and A-Game is getting Big Manned. Alexander is barely holding on and Oxx will is standing firm. Huuuuuge Black hole slam for two. How did A-Game kick out?!? Oxx falls victim to a big man’s biggest enemy…the charge into the corner post. Alexander making a huge comeback, he staggers the big man and hits a running knee strike for the win! Game over for Oxx…but it’s not a total loss: Worcester gives him the ol’ Please Come Back for a hard worker debut!
Match 6: Jose Zamora vs Pedro Dones (Dave’s Hot Chicken Match)
If Pedro wins, we get free hot chicken! Zamora wants nothing more-a than to deny us our chicken. Zamora tries to work over the Shot Caller…Dones is a rock and starts to roll over the Tik Tokker. Zamora misses a double knee and Dones rolls him up! WE get chicken!!!!!
Main Event: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Danny Miles) vs Big Business (TJ Crawford & Love Doug)
The ranch is getting SHOT through the heart early. It’s going great till Stetson boots TJ from the outside. Doug eats a long beatdown but he finally gets to TJ, who is in full rage mode when he blows through. Stetson finally pops him up and Danny spears him out of the air. A miscommunication! Danny goes flying! Stetson folded up but he kicks out! Danny and Stetson cause a distraction as TJ get infuriated with Ref Scotty! BRIAN MORRIS SLIDES IN AND HITS DOUG WITH A BASEBALL BAT! Steve pins Doug! Nooooooo!!!! Did Wonderboy joins the Ranch?!? “I always have a plan” shouts Stetson.
It looks like TJ’s rage is carrying over to Doug but they hug it out. The crowd doesn’t want any more friction between these two. But f*** the Ranch for this.
