We begin with a look back at WWE in Saudi Arabia over the weekend.
Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring.
Rhea welcomes everyone to Raw, with her special twist on the show. She says now that the Judgment Day is behind her, she is wondering what is next for her. She says with Evolution around the corner, she needs to get her priorities straight.
Iyo Sky's music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Iyo tells Rhea she cannot have a show without Iyo Sky. You are wrong about one thing. You are not on top. Not without the title. Iyo says because she has this, Adam Pearce says that she can choose who to defend the title against at Evolution. Iyo speaks in Japanese and the crowd is fluent in Japanese because they applaud what she says. She says she wants to defend against the best. That means defending against Rhea Ripley.
Rhea tells Iyo she has nothing but respect for her. If that is what you want, then she wants Iyo to know that she will stop at nothing to get that back. Rhea tells Iyo if that is what you want, she wants Iyo to know that what happens at Evolution is what you wanted. At Evolution, Rhea Ripley versus Iyo Sky for the Women's Championship. You're on.
Dom sends Finn and JD to their match and AJ Styles shows up.
Dom shows AJ his doctor's note and he had a bit of a setback. Dom says Adam said if AJ touches Dom before he is cleared he doesn't get his match.
AJ looks at the note and he says it says that Dom is a punk ass. He says he will take the title and beat Dom so bad he will need a note from his doctor.
Dom shows the note and walks away.
Match Number One: Finn Balor and JD McDonagh versus Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for the Raw Tag Team Championships
Finn and Kofi start things off and Kofi offers bread to Finn but Finn slaps it away. Kofi has a kick blocked and Finn misses a clothesline. They lock up and Kofi offers a clean break but he swings at Finn in the corner. Finn with a kick to the midsection. Kofi with a back heel kick and a head butt. Kofi with a sunset flip and Finn rolls through because you don't sunset flip Finn Balor (unless you are Rey Mysterio) and Finn with a drop kick. D tags in and JD with a drop toe hold and leg drop to the back of the head for a near fall. JD sends Kofi into the corner and follows with chops. JD wih a kick and he sends Kofi to the floor. JD with a kick to Kofi from the apron. JD with a boot to Woods. Kofi grabs JD when he goes for an Asai Moonsault. Woods tags in and hits a double stomp to the back.
Woods with a double sledge off the apron and a chop. Woods and JD exchange strikes on the floor and return to the ring. Woods gets a near fall. Woods with a chop and JD with a kick. Woods with forearms and he kicks JD after the referee warns him and Finn approaches on the apron. Woods puts JD on the turnbuckles and he chops JD. Woods with punches when JD tries to fight back. Kofi distracts the referee and JD stops Woods and head butts him to the mat. Kofi misses a splash and hits the ring post. JD with a cross body for a near fall. Woods stops JD from making the tag and JD with a kick but Kofi pulls Finn off the apron.
Kofi tags in and hits a back senton hile Woods holds JD on the apron. Kofi goes up top and he hits a chop for a near fall. Kofi punches JD. Woods tags in and he Irish whips JD and he kicks Woods and elbows Kofi. They exchange chops and Woods with kicks and a knee followed by a chop. Woods goes for a power bomb but JD counters with an X Factor and both are down. Kofi tags in and he stops JD from making the tag. JD kicks Kofi away and Finn tags in with a forearm to Kofi and a clothesline to Woods. Finn with double leg take downs and double stomps. Finn gets a near fall on Kofi. Finn with a chop to Kofi in the corner. Finn with an Irish whip but Kofi with a pendulum kick. Kofi misses a move off the turnbuckles and Finn with sling blade. Finn sets for a drop kick but Kofi with a leaping curb stomp.
Woods and JD tag in and JD sends Woods to the floor and JD hits an Asai Moonsault. They return to the ring and JD goes up top and goes for a moonsault but Woods gets his boots up. Woods goes for an O'Connor Roll but Finn makes the tag and the referee does not make the count. JD holds Woods and Finn goes for Coup De Grace but Woods moves. Woods with a kick and he gets Finn up and tags in Kofi for Midnight Hour but they can only get a near fall. Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise but Finn moves. Kofi with an O'Connor Roll for a near fall. JD punches Kofi on the kick out. Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Woods hits Finn in the back of the head with the title belt and Kofi can only get a near fall.
Woods tags in and he goes up top but Finn hot shots Kofi and it crotches Woods. JD tags in and he goes off Kofi's back and he kind of leaps to the turnbuckles and JD with Spanish Fly. JD gets a near fall when Kofi breaks up the cover. Kofi knocks Finn off the apron and he misses a pescado. Finn with sling blade to Kofi. JD with a boot to Woods. JD with a moonsault and Finn with Coup de Grace for the three count.
Winners: Finn Balor and JD McDonagh (new champions)
Jackie Redmond is with Bayley and she asks about what happened last week.
Bayley says she is still focused on the title. She says she should be the new champion but Lyra got in her business.
Lyra shows up and she says Bayley won't talk to her or text her back but she can talk about.
Bayley doesn't want Lyra to apologize to her.
Lyra says she wanted to apologize to her. She wants Bayley back to the way things were before Wrestlemania. You are a different person. She says it is personal between her and Becky.
Bayley says it is personal between them and it has been for ten years.
Adam Paerce shows up and says they will settle it in the ring tonight to see who is the number one contender.
Byron Saxton is with Grayson Waller on the Ludwig Kaiser Concourse Interview Spot.
Byron asks about Waller and Theory.
Waller says he is trying to stir the pot. The truth is he is not here to waste his time talking about Austin Theory. He is going to give his flowers to the New Day. He says he is shocked they lost the tag titles. He says the Hornswoggle look-alikes found their pot of gold. You have turned your backs on the New Day. He says you booed them because they looked out for each other and cut Big E out of the group. He was dead weight on their backs and they became successful. We can learn from the New Day, especially him.
We are back with a Goldberg video package.
Michael Cole mentions what happened last week between Penta and Chad Gable and we see what happened.
We see Chad telling The Creeds and Ivy he needs them to keep things going. Adam shows up and wishes Chad the best in his recovery and wishes him luck.
Adam asks if this means we won't see El Grande Americano either.
Chad says he keeps a busy schedule but you never know.
He tells Ivy and the Creeds not to led the American Made success wane.
Brutus says he will be lost without Chad and Chad tells them to listen to Ivy.
