I know you went to a lot of those old Manhattan Center Raws. Are there any fun old Bret Hart matches I should look for?
Hart didn't wrestle a lot on the Manhattan Center Raws, unless it was a backdrop for an angle. I do remember a Bret Hart vs. Fatu (Rikishi, when he was one of The Headshrinkers) being a lot of fun live. Look for that one.
If you could pick any matches for the WWE Vault YouTube, what would they be?
In order, Sabu vs. Owen Hart from a TV taping dark match in 1993 and the January 1994 Royal Rumble held on a Madison Square Garden house show, won by Owen Hart.
Whatever happened to Freddy Prinze Jr's talked about wrestling promotion?
Thus far, to the best of my knowledge, it's never launched, so it's still just talk. There are a lot of moving parts needed to get a project like that going and for it to take off and not be an immediate money pit. If he's being cautious and trying to get it done the right way, I applaud him for that. A lot have rushed in and failed, even with the best of intentions.
Any word on Dark Side of the Ring Season 7?
I suspect it will be picked up, but I haven't heard anything official.
Any chance Highspots does more Legends of Extreme?
No, I think that ship has sailed, but you never know. I loved doing the series and will always be proud of the 30+ hours we produced. Highspots owns the show and I hope they do whatever they want with it for the rest of time.
How is it that once again there's a Starrcast event and you haven't been brought in to do panel hosting, especially after the times you did great jobs in Vegas and with CM Punk in Chicago?
Well, there's one person to blame for that and it's me. Conrad Thompson called me the second Starrcast was announced seeking to bring me in but I had a pre-existing personal conflict that prevented me from being able to travel to Texas this weekend, so that's why I'm not there. Unfortunately, even I have responsibilities beyond professional wrestling. Sorry!
