Who invented the DDT?
Jake Roberts is often given the credit but Black Gordman had been doing the move prior. Jake absolutely popularized it.
Paul London is said to have invented the Dropsault but I'm watching old Crockett TV and there's Pez Whatley doing it in the 80s. So, did London steal it?
I don't think Paul stole it. Pez did a dropkick and flipped over as he landed, but it was never promoted as a major move for him or a finisher. I think it was done and then many years later, London came up with a similar idea, nothing more.
Obviously this never happened, but how many episodes of the pitched New Jack reality series were filmed? Whatever happened to the planned Kurt Angle and Mick Foley reality series?
In the case of New Jack, all that I am aware of that was filmed was the pitch reel that has floated around for years. It was never officially ordered to series. I believe the same thing happened with the Kurt Angle reality series. In the case of the Foley series, Mick wrote in one of his memoirs that there wasn't any real strife or drama within the family and the project was pretty much dropped because of it.
Where is Mikey Whipwreck these days?
Mikey is retired and has pretty much removed himself from pro wrestling and even training talents. He lives with his family in PA and is doing well outside the business, focusing on his family. He's one of my favorite people I've ever met because of pro wrestling.
My neighbor swears to me that former WWE star Melina lives near us in Staten Island. Any chance he's right or is he out of his mind?
Melina lives on the West Coast, so beware tall tales from your neighbor.
