WWE's Vault has released an infamous Madison Square Garden dark match featuring former ECW World Tag Team Champions facing off - Danny Doring and Roadkill vs. The FBI, Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke from 2001.
This bout took place just a few months after ECW shuttered. The ECW stars went out and had a hell of an eight minute match as if they were in ECW, only to return to the back and get greatly reprimanded for having such a great match, because it would overshadow all the stars on the taping. Needless to say, none were hired at the time, although all four would later be hired by the company.
It's also funny to note that all four were told that the NYC fans wouldn't know who they were, only to get big reactions and ECW chants over the course of the match, which you can watch below:
