During his appearance on the Night of Champions Kickoff in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today, CM Punk was loudly booed by the live audience.
One fan caught Punk's attention as he was demanding Punk apologize for a past Tweet where he ripped The Miz and in the process, Saudi Arabia.
Punk responded, on the mic, "This guy wants me to apologize for a mean tweet I wrote six years ago. Hey, listen, legitimately, it had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I woke up and I was crabby, and I wrote a mean tweet to The Miz. I apologized to The Miz, and..."
Punk then asked the fan his name.
"Muhammad, I sincerely apologize to you and all of Saudi Arabia.”
Punk shook the fan's hand.
The crowd cheered the apology.
