MLW NEWS AND NOTES FROM NYC, BLOOD AND THUNDER DETAILS, OPERA CUP AND MORE

MJF was snuck into The Melrose Ballroom about 10 minutes before he made his surprise appearance at MLW last night and was gone right after he attacked Mistico and cut his promo.

MLW announced Austin Aries will compete in the Opera Cup, which would be his first match in the United States since September 2024.  

MLW announced the signing of Diego Hill, who was trained by Colby Corino and had one hell of a match with KUSHIDA last night.

The Skyscrapers, Dijak and Bishop Dyer, won the MLW Tag Team Championships in NYC.

The legendary Atlas Security was out in full force last night.

Kazuchika Okada was backstage in NYC.

In NYC, MLW was selling MLW and CMLL company logo shirts as well as shirts for Mistico, Ultimo Guerrero, Filthy Bros, The Rogue Horsemen, a MLW tour shirt as well as lucha masks for kids and MLW action figures and a MLW action figure ring.

MLW's next live event will be 9/13 in Dallas, Texas.  They will determine the new Middleweight Champion at that show.
