It’s Thursday and AEW Collision was recorded last night after Dynamite at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
Tony starts the show in the ring, and he is going to have FTR go face to face with the Outrunners. Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd come out first. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler come out next with Stokely, who has the mic. Stokely says FTR should be challenging for the tag team titles, and they want an answer as to the behavior of the Outrunners. Cash then gets a mic and says they are FLABBERGASTED after everything they have done for the Outrunners. FTR has done nothing wrong!
He asks them to think about it before they throw everything away. He then has a present for them, and it’s a video package of their time together with sad music. Dax then says the Outrunners are jealous of FTR. Dax says they got a chance to be tag team champions and they embarrassed themselves, and that’s when the crowd started thinking they were a joke.
Dax then talks about how the fans will turn on the Outrunners the way they have turned on FTR, but they will never make FTR money because they aren’t FTR good.
The Outrunners say that maybe they came up a bit short, but the fans still believe in the Outrunners. Their biggest mistake was that they believed in FTR. And they were put on the Earth to wrestle, to entertain, and to whoop FTR’s ass.
Stokely says that FTR does not fight for free. However, next week, they will fight in Ontario, CA.
We then get a recap of the beatdown of Adam Page last night on Dynamite.
