GOLDBERG-GUNTHER, RAW AT LESS THAN THREE HOURS, ROLLINS CASHING IN AND MORE

I've noticed RAW has been clocking in at under 3 hours quite a bit, as WWE has that option with Netflix.  Now, SD being over on a network is a non-negotiable thing, as they expect 3 hours, so they get it.  Do you guys feel that HHH is possibly doing so on purpose so as to put less strain on the creative flow, maybe taking a little pressure off to help avoid burnout ?   RAW finished about 10:30 last night (16 June) so that left two 15 min. quarters they didn't have to fill.  You can fit quite a few segments into 30 minutes, so that would be less work for everyone, knowing they have to fill every minute on SD.

HHH has said a few times that the Raw run time depends on the flow of the show.  I think if he needs three hours, he will go that long.  If not, it will end earlier. He knows what he wants to accomplish on Raw and books it accordingly.  Honestly, I don’t think an extra quarter hour or two is that big of a deal.  He could always fill that would longer matches if he needed to.

Do you think HHH puts Goldberg over on SNME and Rollins cashes in?  I hope not, personally.  I love Goldberg, but he shouldn't be beating Gunther in any situation.

God, I hope not.  That would be such a Vince thing to do.  It’s bad enough that John Cena came back and got the belt, but at least he’s John Cena and he had been wrestling before he won the belt.  Plus he is 10 years younger than the 58 year old Goldberg.  I think if Goldberg beats Gunther they have done serious damage to the champ.  It doesn’t mean it won’t happen but I hope like hell that it doesn’t.

Do you think Seth cashes in on an exhausted Gunther after he retains?  Or would this be too many title changes on free TV in too short a time span?

I honestly don’t know but if he does, I hope like hell that CM Punk keeps him from winning because that is the story that they have been telling for a while now.

Given the political tensions created by Trump between the US and Canada, and looking at the Toronto crowd response at Elimination Chamber, in particular the booing of the US national anthem (and McAfee's on-air whining about it), do you think that would affect WWE's decision to bring PLE's back to Canada over the next 3-4 years?

WWE is about generating revenue and they can do that in Canada.  I don’t think they will back away from the market.

I've noticed the prices on the Canadian version of WWE's online store have increased significantly recently, not-so-coincidentally right after the Trump tariffs came into effect.  For example, the price of title belts have increased by at least $150 (CAD) in that time period.  Do you think these price increases will have a significant effect on WWE's international merchandise sales?

Time will tell.  I would think higher prices would lead to some people being priced out as that is basic economics.  The question will be if they can make up the difference with a higher price and I don’t know that answer.
