WWE's stars with big in-ring losses in 2025

By Kendall Jenkins on 2025-06-19 07:01:00

While WWE is scripted, most of its outcomes are not easy to predict. If you follow every show, all of the storylines, and every fighter, you might get the idea where things will go next.  Usually, fans are surprised with some results. That's why we have wrestlers who usually win, true superstars, those who lose often, the company's workhorses, and those that swim somewhere in between.

Sometimes, fan favorites will go on a cold streak, while heels will start winning all of a sudden. Yet, at times it appears that despite the popularity, and the need of a storyline there are those wrestlers who always find themselves on the losing side no matter what they do, and the consequences losing all the time might have on their careers. So far, during the 2025, these are the wrestlers that have had a misery out of all of their visits to the ring, taking into account their status within the company.

Finn Balor

If you're even remotely into WWE, you know who Fin Balor is. He is a WWE superstar by all accounts. Yet, he doesn't win all that often. In fact, he's one of the biggest losers in the company. Yes, he has won a few tag team duels in recent months, but as far as his single appearances go, he's been on a  losing streak since June of last year. He's been losing so many duels recently that it is hard to envision him winning anytime soon. If he does win one of his next bouts, it will be like hitting a crypto casino bonus as far as his luck goes. Yet, we are sure that he will go on a winning streak one of these days as there are rumours that WWE wants to put him in the Intercontinental Championship fight vs. Dominik Mysterio.

Shinsuke Nakamura

Another WWE superstar, who hasn't been done any favours by the company in recent months.  He's been with the WWE for more than a decade now, and while he had his fair share of glory, those days are over. Right now, Nakamura serves as the gatekeeper for the new generation. When you're a gatekeeper you will lose more often than not. That's what's been the life as of late for Shinsuke. His latest win was recorded during the first SmackDown of the year, and he's been losing ever since. While we think that Nakamura deserves better, there's no arguing that he's not too upset with the way WWE has been scheduling him as of late.

The Miz

A two time WWE champion, Grand Slam champion, and a falling star. The Miz is all of it. He was not booked in the past the way he is now. The company is treating him as a fodder. It would appear that any glory that The Miz has collected in the past will be his last silverware. Older fans still believe that he could make a comeback, but that's not on the cards if you ask us. He's been losing for so long now, that there's no credibility left in his character to defeat anyone of significance on the WWE roster.

DIY

Just like Shinsuke Nakamura, DIY entered this year with a  belt to their name. The WWE tag team champions, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa had the world of doubles under their feet. And all of a sudden it slipped right under their feet. While big things were expected of them  in 2025 this heel due failed to deliver, they've been losing their every other match not befitting of champions at all. What's even worse, all of their wins came by interference, while all of their losses were quite dominant. 2025 could end today, and DIY would be all for it.

Solo Sikoa

Sikoa had great things in store for himself when  he declared that he is now the Tribal Chief. He wasn't, and the WWE script writers ensured that he understands it. Not that he's been losing when on, but he's been put off in recent months with little to no bookings on SmackDown. While having moderate success with his six man tag team, he was put to his place after losing to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat. Raw moving to Netflix was a major shift in the way the company has been run, and with it Solo Sikoa has been run to the ground. The one good thing going on for him is the ongoing feud with Fatu, but with him losing those battles, if he doesn't start winning soon, his WWE career might not be as memorable as expected.

Roxanne Perez

Perez has been featured on so many shows this year, that you'd think she's the main start in the company. Yet, she's been losing the majority of her appearances. If she doesn't put a stop to her losing streak, she could lose her way out of the WWE. The Prodigy ruled the NXT as a champion for nine months, yet what followed was a meltdown of unprecedented size. We did the counting it's 16 losses for the year. We'll just live that there you need to soak up the biggest WWE loser of the year in WWE.
