Welcome to PWInsider.com’s June 18, 2025 coverage of WWE EVOLVE on Tubi! Scheduled for tonight’s episode:

*Natalya and Kali Armstrong vs. Zayda Steel and Nikkita Lyons

This week’s episode starts off with a recap of how the tag team match of Natalya and Kali Armstrong vs. Zayda Steel and Nikkita Lyons came to fruition.

Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone are on commentary.

Natalya and Kali Armstrong vs. Zayda Steel and Nikkita Lyons

Nikkita Lyons and Kali Armstrong start things off with some shoving and then a lock up. Armstrong drives Lyons to the corner before breaking the lock up. Lyons is able to get in some strikes in the center of the ring, but eats a back elbow in the corner. Natalya tags in and rolls through on Lyons and goes for the Sharpshooter. Lyons kicks her off and Armstrong tags herself back in. Lyons gets in a couple of strikes, but Armstrong strikes back. Zayda Steel tags in, but gets dropped by Armstrong with a punch. Natalya tags back in and gets a two count on a roll up.

Steel sends Natalya to the corner and charges in. Natalya dodges the attack and slams Steel down on her butt. Natalya hits a running kick and gets a two count. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter again, but Steel slips out of it. Steel trips up Natalya into the ropes and distracts the referee. Lyons kicks Natalya and then tags in. Lyons works Natalya over in the corner and then drags her to another corner. Lyons kicks at Natalya as the show goes to a break.

A WWE Night of Champions commercial airs.

Back from the break, Natalya has Natalya in a neck crank on the mat. Natalya fights out of it and hits a throw. Lyons shakes it off and drives Natalya into the corner. Steel tags in and hits a running knee in the corner. Steel snapmares Natalya and hits a basement dropkick for a two count. Steel slaps on a chinlock and then slams Natalya into the mat. Natalya fights back with a roll up for a two count. Natalya goes for the tag, but Steel cuts her off and drags her to the corner.

Lyons tags in and hits Natalya with some punches and then a suplex for a two count. Lyons slaps on a chinlock and then locks it on tighter on the mat. Natalya strikes out of it, but Lyons slams Natalya down by the hair. Steel tags in and clubs down on Natalya’s back. Steel drives Natalya into the corner and hits her with a shoulder attack. Lyons tags in and works Natalya over in the corner before tagging Steel back in. Steel hits Natalya with a series of strikes until Natalya fights back and tags in Armstrong.

Armstrong comes in hot and drops both Steel and Lyons. Armstrong hits a running shoulder attack on both Lyons and Steel. Armstrong hits a spinebuster on Steel. Lyons breaks up the pin and then squares off with Natalya. Natalya sends Lyons to the floor. Steel rolls Armstrong up for a two count. Armstrong shakes it off and hits a powerslam on Steel. Armstrong hits the Kali Connection, but Natalya tagged Armstrong while Kali was running the ropes. Natalya locks on the Sharpshooter on Steel for the submission win!

Winners: Natalya and Kali Armstrong

After the match, Kali Armstrong holds up her title and Natalya stares at it.

EVOLVE Prime Minister Stevie Turner is in her office with Sean Legacy and Timothy Thatcher. She thanks them for what they’ve done in EVOLVE so far. Legacy wants the first crack at Jackson Drake’s EVOLVE Men’s Championship. Turner isn’t sure about that yet. Legacy says that he’s willing to wrestle a gauntlet match against The Vanity Project to get a shot at Jackson Drake. Turner agrees and Legacy walks away. Thatcher tells Turner that Legacy will have to learn.

Chuey Martinez is in the back with Jordan Oasis and Marcus Mathers. They will be wrestling each other in a WWE ID Program Showcase Match. On his way to the show, Oasis couldn’t stop thinking about Jackson Drake. Drake started in the WWE ID Program and now he’s the EVOLVE Men’s Champion. Oasis wants a similar journey. Mathers interrupts him. Oasis wants a moment? Well, this is Mathers’ first match on EVOLVE. Oasis is a big man, but Mathers has the same goals as him.

An NXT Great American Bash commercial airs. 

Several EVOLVE women are in the locker room. Masyn Holiday and Layla Diggs are talking about the attacks on the women lately. Kendal Grey blames Zara Zakher. Zakher says that if Grey has an issue, they can settle it in the ring.

Marcus Mathers vs. Jordan Oasis

Marcus Mathers offers a handshake and Jordan Oasis accepts. They lock up and Oasis grabs a side headlock. He cranks it and hits a side headlock takeover. Mathers is able to stand up and send Oasis to the ropes. Oasis hits a tackle and then hits the ropes. Mathers avoids Oasis and then dodges a senton. Mathers rolls Oasis up for a two count and then hits a dropkick. Mathers hits a running forearm in the corner and then goes for a springboard crossbody. Oasis catches Mathers and hits a fallaway slam for a two count.

Oasis slaps Mathers in the back of the neck and then clubs down on his back. Mathers fights back, but Oasis drops him with a chop. Oasis forearms Mathers in the back and then sends him into the corner. Oasis hits a slam and then a kick to the back. Oasis hits a senton for a two count. Oasis slaps on a chinlock, but Mathers stands out of it. Oasis clubs down on Mathers’ back and then hits an uppercut. Mathers returns fire with an elbow and then kicks Oasis off of him. Mathers leaps to the top rope and hits a twisting crossbody.

Oasis dodges a clothesline and hits a backbreaker. Oasis hits a brainbuster for a two count. Oasis hits the Blackout Cannonball and goes for a big punch on Mathers. Mathers fights it off and hits a big kick to Oasis’ head. Oasis rolls to the floor and Mathers hits a dive on him. Mathers rolls Oasis back into the ring and climbs to the top rope. Mathers hits a 450 Splash for the win!

Winner: Marcus Mathers

After the match, Marcus Mathers offers a handshake and Jordan Oasis accepts. Oasis pushes Mathers out of the way and eats a splash from Keanu Carver. Carver then lays Mathers out. Carvers sends Oasis to the floor and then throws Mathers over the top rope onto Oasis. Carver grabs the microphone. Two WWE ID Program wrestlers kept him from becoming the first WWE Men’s Champion. Carver plans on running through the WWE ID Program so that they want to go back to their bingo halls instead of being in EVOLVE.

A video airs for Tate Wilder. There’s a reason why cowboys are cowboys - the freedom of being on a horse in the open land. Wilder talks about growing up the country way where family is the only thing a person has.

A WWE Summerslam commercial airs.

A video airs for Kylie Rae where she talks about being fed up with Wendy Choo. Choo did wake up something inside of Rae, though. Rae will keep getting back up to take the fight to Choo until she’s the last woman standing. The video ends with Choo smiling creepily into the camera.

Wendy Choo vs. Kylie Rae in a Last Woman Standing Match is official for next week’s EVOLVE.

Zara Zakher vs. Kendal Grey is also official for next week’s EVOLVE.

Sean Legacy vs. The Vanity Project - Gauntlet Match

Sean Legacy starts the Gauntlet Match against Ricky Smokes. Smokes charges at Legacy, but Sean fights him off. Legacy hits the ropes and dropkicks Smokes’ leg. Legacy hits a double stomp on Smokes’ back and then hits a dropkick. Legacy slams Smokes and then kicks him in the back. Legacy kicks Smokes in the chest and hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Legacy hits a chop on Smokes and then hits a running chop on him in the corner. Legacy snapmares Smokes and kicks him in the back. Smokes sends Legacy to the corner and charges in. Legacy tries to lift Smokes to the apron, but Smokes is able to stop himself on the top rope. Smokes hits a series of punches and then a lungblower. Smokes rains down punches on Legacy.

Legacy fights back, but is sent to the corner. Smokes hits a running forearm, but is sent to the corner. Smokes avoids Legacy in the corner and hits a spear on him through the ropes for a two count. Smokes grabs a chinlock and cranks it. Legacy punches out of it and gets up a boot on a charging Smokes. Legacy hits a rolling DDT on Smokes. Both men are slow to get up. As they both get up, Legacy blocks punches from Smokes and hits some of his own. Legacy hits a couple of running strikes and then a German Suplex. Legacy hits Shambles for the win!

Brad Baylor gets in the ring and chop blocks Legacy as the show goes to a commercial. 

A WWE Clash in Paris commercial airs.

Back from the break, Legacy fights off Baylor. Baylor shakes it off, though, and sends Legacy to the ropes. Baylor hits a tackle for a two count. Baylor stomps down on Legacy. Legacy catches a kick from Baylor and hits a kick of his own. Legacy charges Baylor in the corner, but gets lifted to the apron. Legacy has to shake out his leg on the apron with the way he landed. Legacy dodges a shoulder attack through the ropes and hits a springboard missile dropkick for a two count. Legacy shakes out his leg again.

Legacy goes for a running kick in the corner, but misses. Baylor hits a TKO variation for a two count. Baylor goes for a butterfly move, but Legacy slips out and strikes at Baylor. Legacy hits a headscissors out of the corner and then hits a running kick in the opposite corner for a two count. Legacy shakes out his leg again. Legacy tries to grab Baylor, but Brad holds onto the ropes. Legacy goes for Shambles, but his leg gives out. Baylor catches a kick and hits Legacy’s leg with an elbow. Legacy shakes it off and hits a suplex. 

Baylor charges at Legacy, but Sean lifts him over the top rope and to the floor. Legacy hits a dive on Baylor. Legacy rolls Baylor into the ring and tries to climb to the top rope. Legacy is slow doing so because of his leg, which allows Baylor to meet him at the top. Baylor hits legacy with a superplex, but Legacy turns it into a small package for the win!

Bryce Donovan comes into the ring and goes for a clothesline. Legacy ducks the clothesline, but eats a big boot. Donovan makes the pin and gets the three count!

Winners: The Vanity Project

After the match, The Vanity Project stands over Sean Legacy. Jackson Drake hits Legacy with a senton and the rest of the group beats Legacy down. Drake grabs a microphone and says that The Vanity Project calls the shots. Lince Dorado runs out with a chair and clears The Vanity Project from the ring. Dorado says that what The Vanity Project is doing is not how things go down in the big leagues or EVOLVE. The Vanity Project surrounds the ring, but Dorado says he didn’t come alone. The LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro) comes out and helps Dorado clear the ring of The Vanity Project.
