Former rugby star Gabe Wai, who spent time in WWE NXT before being released, has joined the cast of the new season of MTV reality competition series The Challenge, according to Deadline.com.
Wai was signed to WWE in March 2022 to a developmental deal and christened Eka Brown. He never made his official in-ring debut and was released the following year and has since played for The Orlando Ghosts in the The American 7s Football League.
The new season of The Challenge will premiere on 7/30.
CM Punk and Lio Rush have appeared on previous seasons.
