JOHN CENA’S TEPID HEEL RUN, REMOVING VINCE, MR. IGUANA AND MORE

I was just thinking about what might be the best and worst things to happen in wrestling in the last 25 years. To me, the best thing is the removal of Vince McMahon. If I could wish a trial into existence, I would do so with lots of character witnesses. The worst thing (my opinion) is over-saturation. Three hour weekly shows, shows most every night of the week, five hour PPVs and now, two shows in one day by the same company is just too much. What would be your opinion?

I think you made two excellent choices.  I wish Vince would get everything coming to him and there is definitely too much wrestling on a lot of the time.  At least with that, people have options to watch what they like the best if they don’t have time to watch it all.

So when AEW’s International Champion faces AEW’s Continental Champion, winner take all  at All In, will the belt be known as the Intercontinental Championship?

Pop!

As a heel fan, I usually identify and find their antics entertaining. That said, when I John Cena’s blank face on an upcoming match graphic, it burns me up with XPac heat. I could have rocked with The Rock/soul story or the “Ruining wrestling” story; where if executed logically - could have been groundbreaking, as they are not simple “Beatdown” stories. Can you help me figure out why John Cena’s heel turn annoys the crap out of me, especially as a heel lover?

I can.  Heel fans like cool badasses.  Heel John Cena is a boring dork, just like he always was as a babyface.  There is nothing about him that’s interesting.  He’s just a dull guy who blathers on and on.

Season 2 of LFG debuting on June 22nd? Isn’t that a bit much? That would be like 3 or 4 seasons per year at this rate.

If someone wants to pay them for it, they will deliver it, as they should.  I don’t see any issue with 3 or 4 seasons a year.

Mr. Iguana. The most comedic gimmick in a while on WWE Television and people love it. However, people talk negative about the gimmick of Orange Cassidy on AEW. The same with Luchasuarus. Is it fair to say that AEW and the WWE is very divided one the type of characters that are presented on programming? To me, all three gimmicks is over the top and makes wrestling embarrassing.

To me the difference is that in AEW, those two (especially Cassidy) are pushed at the top of the card.  Mr. Iguana was not pushed that way at Worlds Collide.
