Not yet. They will own 51% of the AAA parent company when the deal is completed later this year.
Will WWE own Lucha Underground?
No, that series and library is not owned by AAA and is not part of the deal. The rights would reside with MGM Television I believe.
Could WWE bring in Vampiro and Matt Striker to be the announcers for AAA?
If they wanted, sure, but I think Corey Graves proved he's the guy for the lead announcing role at Worlds Collide. Konnan can play the same role of lucha expert that Vampiro played in Lucha Underground.
Will WWE broadcast AAA from Mexico?
Given that 99% of AAA shows are taking place in Mexico, I think that's a pretty easy assumption.
How long before WWE is selling masks and iguanas?
I think the countdown clock is already ticking for that one.
