Why did AEW stop producing updates for their Fight Forever video game? The last update was almost a year ago in July.
My guess is that the game ran its course. That doesn't mean there won't be new updates one day, but a lot of these games today eventually stop updating. I was regularly playing Evil Dead the Game and after awhile, they stopped adding new content. Everything has a finite lifespan.
I've seen you mention a lot, like when you reported that Mariah May would be getting a new ring name that WWE wants to own and trademark whatever new name she gets... but they didn't choose to do that with Guilia, Stephanie Vaquer, MCMG, Jordynne Grace, etc... Do you know what goes into their decisions on who they choose to rename and who they don't?
Everything is a case by case basis. In some cases, they want a new persona from scratch. In some, they want the talents' existing name because they are so well known. With Grace, she was being used while in TNA, so it made little sense to suddenly change her name. There's no mathematical equation. It all comes down to what WWE wants creatively for each individual talent.
With John Cena transitioning out of wrestling, is he still granting wishes to seriously ill children? If yes, do you know if the number of requests has dropped.
To the best of my knowledge, nothing has changed in that regard. People know John is playing a role.
In your opinion, what is one moment or event in wrestling that seemed like a good idea "In-the-moment" but ended looking really bad in retrospect? A loaded question I know!
Everything is subjective, but the first to me is Steve Austin turning heel in WWF in 2001. After that, Goldberg's streak ending and his later WCW heel turn both come to mind.
Having a discussion with some friends/fans, do you find it weird that the Khan family has a stadium (EverBank) almost literally in their backyard and they never ran a AEW/ROH super show there? Decent sized stadium (67K), with the right card and the right ticket prices, I’m sure they would do GREAT business there. Your thoughts? THANKS!
They are obviously aware of it since AEW is headquartered there and they have used it for Stadium Stampede. I would be surprised if they didn't run there one day.
