We all know TKO will eventually sell WWE when the current boom eventually dips. Is there any way TK WOULDN’T buy WWE if we’re put up for sale? Would it not be a dream come true for TK to “win the war” by buying his competition and owning the legacy of professional wrestling?
We all know that? Really? I don’t know that. But if WWE is ever for sale, TKO would want more than they paid for it. Last I saw, Shad Khan was worth about $12 billion. I don’t know that he would want to spend more than half of his wealth on buying WWE for his son. I would guess that he wouldn’t.
Why does the WWE change some names (Ricky Saints) but others (Ethan Page) get to keep their name?
In this case, it’s probably due to the fact that Saints’ real name is Starks while Page is not his legal name. My guess is that it’s due to rights fees.
With his recent post about Jim Ross I’ve was lost all respect for Ric Flair as a person. Saying that JR was seeking attention because he announced having colon cancer and then trying to back out of it by saying he was joking was worse. What is wrong with Flair?
Too much for me to even try to answer here. The last 20 years or so of Flair’s life have really tarnished my opinion of him.
Any truth to rumors that WWE is looking to buy 51% of All Japan or Pro Wrestling Noah? Would be cool to have another territory in Japan like AAA in Mexico.
I don’t know of any plan to do that but with that said, if TKO thinks a deal is worth pursuing they will probably look into it. They also may want to wait and see how the AAA deal works out before they move on to another promotion.
With the rumor of Vince wanting to buy back WWE, what if Vince or Shane bought the rights to WCW from WWE and started that back up instead?
First off, I don’t put any stock into the rumor of Vince buying back WWE. With that said, what would the right to WCW be? It’s a company that’s been dead for 25 years that has no TV deal. It would be like Ford bringing back The Pinto.
