By Matt ten-Hoeve on 2025-06-04 22:02:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s June 4, 2025 coverage of WWE EVOLVE on Tubi! Scheduled for tonight’s episode:

*Fatal Four-Way Match to Crown the First WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion: Jackson Drake vs. Edris Enofe vs. Sean Legacy vs. Keanu Carver

*Carlee Bright vs. Jin Tala

The episode starts off with a video package that focuses on the competitors in the Fatal Four-Way Match to crown the first WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion.

Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone are on commentary.

Kali Armstrong, the first ever WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion, makes her way to the ring. Armstrong told everyone that she’d be the first ever WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion. She’s been in WWE for a year and a half and she’s already a champion. Armstrong isn’t ducking anyone and is ready to take on all competitors. Speaking of which, who will be her first challenger?

Zayda Steel makes her way to the ring and gives credit to Armstrong. Last week’s match was a classic and Steel realizes that she has something in common with Armstrong. Armstrong is the first WWE EVOLVE Champion and Steel is the first ever WWE ID prospect. From one difference maker to another…Armstrong is lucky.

Nikkita Lyons makes her way to the ring. Lyons is honored to meet Armstrong. Lyons spoke to EVOLVE’s Prime Minister Stevie Turner. She told her that when a champion was crowned to call Lyons. Well…she’s here. Lyons and Steel jaw at each other. Armstrong says that they are doing a lot of talking, but aren’t doing anything about it. Steel and Lyons drop their mics and attack Armstrong. Lyons lays Armstrong out with a superkick.

Steel and Lyons continue the attack until Natalya’s music hits. Natalya runs out and clears Steel and Lyons from the ring. Natalya checks on Armstrong and hands her the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship. Armstrong snatches it away from Natalya.

Carlee Bright is in the back holding her arm and groaning. Someone took her out again. A referee checks on her and asks for medical to come check her out.

Back from an ad break, Carlee Bright is in the trainer's room getting checked out. Stevie Turner asks Bright if she saw who attacked her. The attacker was wearing a black hoodie, but Bright didn’t see who it was. Bright still wants to wrestle tonight.

Keanu Carver is in the back getting ready for the main event. Tonight means something to him. The other three only care about money and fame. The WWE EVOLVE Men’s Championship means a way out for Carver. He’s about to show everyone what he’s about.

Sean Legacy is in the locker room with Timothy Thatcher. Legacy has been waiting eight long years for this moment. Thatcher has taught him everything. Thatcher tells Legacy that he’s ready. Sean says that it’s time for him to create his legacy.

Carlee Bright vs. Jin Tala

They lock up and Carlee Bright shoves Jin Tala off. Tala goes after Bright’s arm after another lock up. Tala cranks Bright’s arm and takes her over for a pin attempt. Bright kicks out, but Tala keeps hold of the arm. Bright is able to reverse the hold and goes for a roll up. Tala kicks out at one, but succumbs to an arm drag and arm bar. Bright cranks Tala’s arm, but Tala is able to reverse. Bright reverses again and hits another roll up. Tala kicks out, but eats a dropkick. Bright climbs to the second rope and hits a flying crossbody for a two count.

They hand fight a bit until Tala is able to work over Bright’s arm. Tala drags Bright down into a double knees on her arm for a two count. Tala then slaps on a double arm stretch. Tala turns it into a roll up for a one count. Bright recovers and hits a series of tackles and a running bulldog for a two count. Tala goes for a kick, but Bright catches it and hits a Code Breaker. Bright goes for a standing moonsault, but Tala moves out of the way and locks on an arm stretch for a submission win!

Winner: Jin Tala

Last week’s Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match for the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship match is recapped. It focuses on the issues between Kylie Rae and Wendy Choo. It shows unseen footage of Choo attacking Rae in the back after the match.

Chuey Martinez and Kylie Rae are in the back and just got done watching the unseen footage. Rae has been haunted by Wendy Choo for weeks. Rae thought their issues were over. Choo is the only person who makes Rae not so smiley. Chantel Monroe interrupts and tells Rae that she’s annoying and then walks away. Masyn Holiday and Layla Diggs apologize for what Monroe said and tell Rae to ignore her.

Jackson Drake is in the back with The Vanity Project getting ready for the main event. The Vanity Project believes in Drake. After tonight, everyone will know Drake as the WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion.

Edris Enofe is in the locker room getting ready for the main event. Enofe has been waiting for this moment for a long time. He just came back from a gruesome shoulder injury that hurt for real. What hurt worse, though, was that he couldn’t compete in front of all the fans for a while. Tonight, he goes from being a tag team wrestler to the EVOLVE superstar when he becomes the first ever WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion.

Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe make their way to the ring. Lee says that he can bet that no one expected to see him in EVOLVE. Dupont and Igwe have been dominating on their own, so he hasn’t had a reason to be in EVOLVE. Lee wanted to see what EVOLVE was all about, though. Everyone in the back has big dreams, potential, and hope. They all believe that they’ll be the next big thing. Lee laughs…those dreams are cute. Lee was the same way once upon a time. He wanted to make the business better and change the world…and he did. When Lee walks around the locker room, he sees people who are naive - people who are delusional in believing that they’ll take his spot. Lee lists his accolades and championships and says that he’s not done yet. Lee tells the entire locker room that he’s the gatekeeper now. If anyone wants to make it to NXT, they’ll have to go through him.

Cappuccino Jones and Jack Cartwheel make their way to the ring. Jones sees what Lee is brewing up. Dupont and Igwe are impressive and Lee’s mentorship is paying off. Lee figures that Jones and Cartwheel want a rematch from last week. Actually, Jones wants a match against Lee. Jones says that Lee has been sipping on something bitter for a while. Lee says that he’s been around the block enough to know better. Jones says that if Lee wants to be the measuring stick, then Jones wants to know how he measures up. Lee agrees to a match with Jones for next week.

Je’Von Evans is shown outside. Evans will be presenting the winner of the Fatal Four-Way with the WWE EVOLVE Men’s Championship. Jordan Oasis is seen walking behind Evans. Je’Von stops Oasis and gives him respect.

A video package airs for Marcus Mathers. Mathers has been waiting a long time to introduce himself to the WWE Universe. He’s been wrestling for about six years now. He’s Philly’s finest, but also the finest in WWE ID. Thanks to WWE ID, Mathers has been traveling more and training with the best of the best. Mathers is ready to bring all that knowledge to WWE EVOLVE.

Next Week on EVOLVE:

*It’s Gal vs. Troy Yearwood

*Wes Lee vs. Cappuccino Jones

*Lince Dorado will be LIVE!
