It’s Wednesday!!!! That means it’s Fyterfest!!!! AEW is live and on the air. I’ll be handling the play by play for the first 2 hours and then tagging in the great Cory Strode for Collision!!! We are in Denver, CO. Excalibur, Taz and Ian Riccaboni have the call of the action tonight.
WE hear from Toni Storm ahead of her tag team match.
Tony Schiavone welcomes Will Ospreay. We see last week’s comments from Swerve Strickland leading to a brawl. He admits it might be a bad idea to try and bring Swerve and and Hangman Page together. Ospreay puts over the AEW locker room, but admits he doesn’t know who is friend or foe. THe crowd chants “Swerve’s House”. Ospreay says he loves Swerve but calls him out for next week.
Here comes Lio Rush and Action Andretti. Crowd is not happy. They get the “What” treatment. Lio challenges Ospreay to a 1 on 1 match. Ospreay happily accepts for Collision.
We hear from Mark Briscoe ahead of his match with Jon Moxley.
Non Title: Jon Moxley w/ Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta vs. Mark Briscoe
Lockup, it’s tight. Clean break. Moxley goes to the floor. Uppsercut by Briscoe, he goes to the floor and we have some redneck kung fu. Back in the ring, Briscoe with chops, Moxley responds in kind. Sleeper by Briscoe. Uppercuts by Briscoe. Boot to the face by Moxley. Moxley with a choke on the middle rope and nails crossfaces. Polish hammer and a shoulderblock by Briscoe. Dropkick by Briscoe, action is back on the floor. Briscoe misses a cannonball. MArina distracts the ref as Yuta slams Briscoe into the post. MArk Briscoe is busted open. Elbows by Moxley as we go to commercial.
WE are back and Moxley scores a 2 count. They trade chops and forearms. Pele kick by Briscoe. This time, Briscoe connects on the cannonball to the floor. LAriat for 2 by Briscoe. Kick by Moxley. Kick by Briscoe. Short arm lariat by Moxley. Lariat by Briscoe. Moxley blocks a froggy bow and applies a choke. Moxley transitions into an armbar. Briscoe makes the ropes. Yuta interferes behind the ref’s back. DVD by Briscoe. Jay Driller by Briscoe but is too tired to cover. He does eventually score a 2. Moxley with a stomp and applies a choke. The ref calls for the stoppage

Blue and Mina start off. Enziguiri by Mina into a Russian Leg Sweep. Splash by Mina, Storm tags in. Snap suplex by Storm and Mina tags in. Forearm by Blue. Elbow by Blue and Hart tags in. Tarantula by Hart. Blue attacks Storm in the corner. Blue with a tandem Rock Bottom as we go to commercial.
We are back, Hart tags in. Old school by Hart for 2 after a Blue kick. Storm runs in and cleans house. Mina punches Hart and nails a top rope sling blade. Storm and Blue tag in. Sky high by Storm for 2. Storm and Mina with hip attacks. Storm chokes out Blue.

The Hurt Syndicate comes out. We will have an official announcement. Lashley gives Denver a thumbs down. MVP asks where the best tag teams are. No one is capable to beating Lashley and Benjamin.
MJF asks for silence. He wants gold, specifically the AEW World Title. He challenges Mistico and puts over Happy Gilmore 2.
Speedball Bailey, Komander and Kevin Knight come out. They challenge the Syndicate.

I feel bad for LFI. They haven’t been the same since Amy Rose left the camp. This is a 6 way brawl that I can’t keep up with. Bailey kicks Rush. I’m not even sure who’s legal at this point. LFI with a triple press on Bailey as we go to commercial
We are back and insanity is ensuing. Dralistico with a Mexican Destroyer to Komander. Rush and Knight are now legal. Rush with stomps. He kicks Knight. Knight with a backbreaker to Rush for 2. Triple dropkicks by the good guys.Assisted Code Red by Komander for 2. Samoan drop by Mortos for 2. Bailey tags in. He scores a 2 on Dralistico. Bailey and Knight double team Mortos. Knight with a UFO and pins Mortos

King with a Cactus Jack clothesline over the top. Dorado with a dropkcik to Brody. King forearms Claudio. King powerbombs Dorada into Claudio. Snap Dragon by Omega to King. Omega with a tope as we go to commercial.
WE are back and it’s Claudio working over Omega with a choke. Knees by Claudio off a moonsault attempt. Snap dragon my Omega. King is bleeding from the eye. DVD by King to Dorada into Omega, Kick by Omega. King punches Claudio. Omega tries the OWA on king but Claudio with an uppercut.King pounds Claudio and and gordbuster by Claudio. Dorada with a rana to Claudio. Knee strike by Omega to Claudio. Dorada blocks a OWA. King and Claudio trade forearms. Big swing by Claudio to King for 2 after a neutralizer. Craziness ensues.
