As PWInsider.com reported last night, Nick Gage was inducted into the 2300 Arena's Hardcore Hall of Fame last night at Battleground Championship Wrestling's latest event.
Here is the transcript of Gage's speech after he was inducted by Matt Tremont (LANGUAGE WARNING, obviously):
" Hey, give it up for Battleground. That shit's crazy.
First off, you know, I'm one of the realest motherfucker in this business.
I said, I'm one of the realest motherfuckers in this business.
Where's my fucking gang at?
We're in Philadelphia. Motherfuckers.
You're damn right, all fucking day.
Lemme explain something to you guys. Having a banner in this fucking arena is unbelievable. I still can't believe I'm getting this banner tonight, this fucking Arena made me want to be a fucking wrestler, and maybe some of the guys think that might be the wrong thing I did. But guess what? I get to do what I fucking love each and every weekend as my fucking job, which is not a job — it's my fucking passion.
So guess what? Because of you guys, I get to do that each and every weekend and pay my bills. So I love you motherfuckers.
This fucking arena, 19, I think, '93, '94 — I've been hit with head a large of steel chairs. I can't remember, but one of the best wrestlers to ever fucking do it: Shane Douglas. The Franchise, motherfuckers, threw down that fucking belt and said it's gonna be Extreme Championship Wrestling. I don't think you want down.
This motherfucker, he steps up...He — and because he threw that belt down, and because show after fucking show those motherfuckers busted their ass and put on awesome shows, I want to become a fucking wrestler. But not only a fucking wrestler — I wanted to be a fucking death match wrestler.
Then I tell you what. Some of these motherfuckers wanted me to just wrestle or style they wanted to wrestle. Do you wanna wrestle? You don't need to do that fucking shit no more. Fuck you. I love doing that shit. Guess what I did? I put that shit back on the fucking map, and now look where death match wrestling is. It is the fucking top. You know what? Yeah, I said it's at the fucking top. Hey, you don't think so? Well, guess what? I main evented that motherfucking AEW with Chris Jericho. And guess what? I used light tubes. I used — and I told that motherfuckers, I'm not gonna do that match unless that's fucking real glass. Real fucking light tubes. I don't use that p***y-ass sugar glass.
And I did that match not only for death match wrestling, but I did that match for all my fucking death match warriors who passed away. Give it up for those motherfuckers, man. Make some fucking noise. I said for the death match warriors who passed away, and everyone's still breathing, like this motherfucker right here [points at Matt Tremont.]
That's why I'm the God of this shit — because I do it for other motherfuckers, because I want to make sure that death match wrestling has a future. Yeah, and you know what I do now? I make sure none of them p***sy motherfuckers start fucking that shit up again.
I tell you what. I catch one of them fucking p**sies fucking my fucking death wrestling up again — I'm going to fuck his ass up. And you know what that fucking means: fucking violence and fucking a weapon in my hand. Yeah, I said a weapon in my motherfucking hand. Listen, man. I'm fucking crazy. So guess what I'll do? I'll fucking bump 50 his ass right here.
All right, I'll calm down a little. I'll calm down. I apologize. I'm trying to get inducted into the Hall of Fame. That's little crazy. Yeah, fuck that shit.
Make some fucking noise. I said make some fucking noise.
On the real, there's some people I want to thank. All fucking day. I love you people, man. You guys don't understand what you do to me, man. You guys give me the fucking heart. You guys give me the fucking emotions that I need to get in this ring and bust my ass. Thank you, and I ain't one them fake motherfuckers saying thank you just to say thank you. I'm saying that from my fucking heart. I love you too, man.
[Crowd chanted 'You Deserve it. All FN' Day."]
I wanna tell you guys something. My wife just passed away. Okay. Sondra Lee, I love you. Okay. What I was gonna do is I was gonna bring — surprise her and bring her in the middle of the ring with me because she was there since day one. She was there when I was becoming a wrestler, when I was training, when CZW Was just a wrestling school, And I was gonna say — 'cause you guys are the reason why I get to do this. So I wanted to bring her in front of all you guys and tell her thank you. And you are one of the reasons why I love what I do, and I get to do what I do for a fucking living, because wrestling's not easy. Wrestling's hard. You don't make a lot of money all the times. So there's tough times you gotta go through. And you know what? She had my motherfucking back all the fucking time. No, she did. I did seven years of fucking prison, and you know what she did? She rode with me all seven fucking years, and I got out — you know what she did? She treated me like the king that I am. So I just wanna say thank you, Sondra and I fucking love you.
I wanna thank some other people, man, that helped me out through my fucking career, man, and I wanna start off with this motherfucker. I wanna give a shout out to Brett fucking Lauderdale. That's my best friend, and sometimes we don't see eye to eye, but guess what he does? He always has my fucking back. So thank you for all the shit you've done in my career.
[Crowd chants GCW.]
yeah. GCW. I wanna give a shout to that whole fucking crew over there. I love them guys.
Also, I want give a shout out to Benny. That is fucking Benny, man. Excuse me. I'm sorry. B-Boy. Benny. I apologize, man. I'm sorry. Give a shout out to B-Boy, the fucking champion in Battleground.
And this man right here [points to Matt Tremont.] — this man changed my fucking career when I got outta prison. This man changed my fucking career, man. I'll tell you what — I know I'm eating a lot of time up, but I'll do what the fuck I want. I said, I'll do what the fuck I want. Anybody got a problem?
I got outta prison. I didn't think I could go really well. I didn't think I could do to this level. I got in a ring with this motherfucker, which was match three of a fucking tournament, and I went with this mo...I lost the match. But guess what he did? He gave me my fucking confidence back. If I could go 40 minutes at a death match with this motherfucker, that means I'm one of the best to fucking do it. Not only did I do that — I did that three fucking times with you. It's one of my favorite matches of all time. All three of 'em are a trilogy. And thank you, Matt Tremont, for carrying that shit when I was in prison. I love you, man. I love you like a brother. Thank you.
Shout out to fucking Loudy. Shout out to Tally Mike. Shout out to Devon Moore. Whoa, wait a minute. My bad.
Philadelphia — I wanna say rest in peace to Trent Acid, OK? Big Mac Smack, Brain Damage.
Let's give it up for Sa Fucking Bu. No, you guys don't understand. That crazy motherfucker changed wrestling. Nobody was going through tables. All of a sudden, he does a fucking triple jump moonsault through a fucking table. I can't believe it. Sabu. The whole ECW crew. Thank you. Thank you, Joel Gertner — and I tell you what, one more per...
[Crowd chants for Sabu.]
I'm gonna give a shout out to Drake Younger. Everybody give a shout out to Tim, because I went through shit in my life, and I stopped wrestling for seven months. And guess what? Some shit crept in — I maybe can't do this any more. Confidence is gone. I got in a ring with Drake Young in Battleground. And guess what? I'm pretty damn good at this fucking shit. I don't know why I forgot that I'm the fucking God of this shit. Drake Younger, you made me remember that shit. Tim, you made me remember that shit.
Hey, MDK...
[Crowd responds "All FN' Day."]
it's my Hall of Fame, please. MDK!
[Crowd responds "All FN' Day."]
Love you. I love you people, and you know that. Thank you. Thank you. I love you guys. It's time to wrestle. Thank you."
