AJ Mendez, who wrestled for WWE as AJ Lee before retiring, will have her latest film project debut this week in NYC at The Tribeca Film Festival.
Mendez is listed as Executive Producer and Producer in short film Aimee Comes First, which will star her writing and producing partner Aimee Garcia ("Lucifer").
The film's plot - "A late coming-of-age story about a Type-A Latina who lives with her overbearing Catholic family and tries to orgasm for the first time before her fast-approaching 40th birthday."
The film also stars Alfred Molina, Olga Merediz and Lamorne Morris as well.
