After Joe Hendry losing his Title to Trick Williams, will TNA ever get a big win over an NXT talent?
I would say probably maybe???? I get what you are saying, for sure. But, TNA obviously thinks the deal is worth doing so I will trust their judgment.
I’ve been waiting months for you guys to weigh in on the statement that AEW draws 500k on MAX. Did I miss it? I find the reporting on this site to be pretty reliable so as preposterous as that number sounds if I saw Mike Johnson verify it, I might buy it. However as of now I remain VERY skeptical. Can you guys shed any light on this?
You did not miss any report from us because there is nothing TO report. The claim in question is made from a well past his prime hack of a writer who has lost all of the credibility that he ever had once he attached his wagon to AEW and became the company’s house organ in the pro wrestling reporting ecosystem so all we can do is say that crazy uncle is wrong……again. Since AEW started, he has “reported” things that are not even remotely close to true or that he has not been able to prove, like his assertion that AEW is drawing that many views on MAX. He puts them out in the ether and outlets with no credibility cite his “reports”. There is no proof of this assertion and frankly, anyone who buys his argument is a gullible sap. His fan base loves AEW and hates WWE so comes up with whoppers that they want to hear so that they can believe that AEW and WWE are equal entities. Only morons believe a moron. Maybe he is going senile in his old age and actually believes the goofy things he comes up with but logical people realize that if AEW was drawing anything close to that number the company would be sharing that information with us as it would be a massive boon for the promotion.
Thoughts on WWE doing a women’s only PPV?
Honestly? I don’t think it’s necessary. The company doesn’t do male only PPVs. To me, the women have become equal to the men so I don’t see the point. With that said, they have a ton of great talent and I expect it to be a good show.
Just saw the Rock/Bad Booker question… and agree 100%. Here’s my follow-up… who’s worse Dewey (with ALL of his family history in the biz) or Tony Khan? I’ll take Dewey because AT LEAST he can work. What say you?
I would go with Rock here. He has a long history in the business so he should understand how his appearances have disrupted things. He has the experience and knowledge to know better. Tony Khan is a wrestling booker solely because he has the money to be a wrestling booker. It’s not fair to expect much out of him like it is where Rock is concerned.
How cool do you think it would be if Pope Leo XIV appeared at his papal balcony in full Road Warrior gear; a white/gold spiked shoulder pads & face paint ? FYI, I ask this in pure jest.
