For someone who touts growing up in the business and with his 20+ years as an actor, are you surprised how bad the Rock’s understanding of storytelling is? Rock almost derailed WM40 by forcing Cody to almost give up his 2024 Royal Rumble world title shot and completely mucked up WM41’s main event story. Given his background, how and why is Rock so bad at creative?
That’s a damn good question and I don’t have a good answer other than I have known a lot of great wrestlers over the years who had no idea how to properly book.
What is your best guess as to where the WWE Network ends up after the Peacock deal is over?
My guess is that it will be either Peacock or Netflix.
How is it medically possible that Sabu wrestled 2 weeks after a broken neck? Something doesn’t add up with this story.
Without knowing the degree of the fracture, I can’t say. I broke a vertebrae in my back and my job cleared me to go back to work in two weeks. It all depends on the break. With that said, I knew my back was worse than the doctors said so I fought them, and successfully sued them. If it were me, I wouldn’t be taking bumps with any kind of back or neck fracture.
I know Sami Zayn has his own program going on, but how great would it be if El Generico came out of “retirement” to be the one to unmask Chad Gable/El Grande Americano?
Sami is in the top of the card feud and Americano is midcard. I don’t see a need to do that right now.
Do you ever see a day where Hulk Hogan leaves the kayfabe at home and finally gets 100 percent candid for an interview, maybe for something like a Netflix documentary series on his life and career? How many zeroes on a check do you think it would take for the Hulkster to open up legit and stop living in an alternate reality? If someone could pull it off, it could be one of the most important wrestling interviews ever, instead of another session of Grandpappy Hulk's tall tales. Thoughts?
Honestly? No, I don’t. Even if it was his intent to do it, he has lived in that alternate reality for so long he may not even know what the truth is anymore.
