The mask is a big thing for luchadores and although I'm not sure I would assume that they travel without it like Clark Kent in glasses, know what I mean? But some of their tattoos are pretty distinct and recognizable. Have you ever heard of a luchadore ever getting recognized traveling based on their tattoos?
Oh yeah, for sure. Shoot back when they came into ECW 30 years ago they were getting recognized!
So I have always been a big fan of Penta, ever since I saw him in Lucha Underground. He has great talent and charisma and the WWE fans seem to love him. I know he's 40 and not the biggest guy, but do you ever see him reaching that World Champion level in WWE?
It’s hard to say but if I had to guess I would say no. There aren’t a lot of talents that make it to that level so it’s not a knock on him in any way. But, if he gets hot enough you never know. No one would have predicted that Jey Uso would be where he is a few years ago.
Thoughts on Guilia already getting the call up?
She is special so I totally get it. She obviously is very pretty but she also has a presence to her both in and out of the ring. She’s ready to go so there is no reason to keep her in NXT.
And how long will it be before Stephanie Vaquer gets the call as well?
See what I just said about Guilia and apply it to Vaquer. Since she is the champion in NXT and you have to think about drawing TV ratings, she may stay there a bit longer but she is main roster ready right now. She’s a star.
Mercedes Mone said when she signed with AEW that she would return to WWE before she retires. My question is will WWE even want her? They are loaded with talent and they don't need her.
WWE is loaded with talent, for sure. Will Mone return? Good question. I think if she does she will have to realize how loaded the roster is and understand that she most probably won’t get anything close to what Tony Khan is paying her. I could be wrong, but I think if she wants to end her career there, she will have to probably have to settle for less money than what she wants.
