Welcome to PWInsider.com’s Ring of Honor Report for Episode 115 on May 9, 2025! This special Friday night episode is airing on both HonorClub and YouTube. Scheduled for tonight is the following:

*ROH World Champion Bandido vs. Gringo Loco - Proving Ground Match

*ROH Women’s World TV Champion Red Velvet vs. Laynie Luck - Proving Ground Match

*Jay Lethal vs. Atlantis Jr. 

*Deonna Purrazzo vs. Ashley Vox - Pure Rules Match

*The Spanish Announce Project vs. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian

Jay Lethal vs. Atlantis Jr. 

The Code of Honor is followed. They lock up and Jay Lethal is sent to the ropes. Atlantis Jr. doesn’t go down on a tackle attempt. They lock up again and Lethal hits an arm drag. Atlantis returns the favor and Lethal rolls to the outside. Atlantis cuts off Lethal’s attempt to get back into the ring and then hits a dive. Lethal grabs Atlantis on his attempt to get back into the ring and pulls him back to the floor. Lethal then hits a dive. Lethal goes for another dive, but Atlantis reads it and rolls into the ring. Atlantis hits another dive on Lethal.

Atlantis rolls Lethal into the ring and gets a one count on a pin attempt. Atlantis hits a spinebuster variation and a basement dropkick for a two count. Lethal shakes it off and hits a hip toss and a dropkick. Lethal hits a belly-to-back suplex and climbs to the top rope. Atlantis rolls out of the way, so Lethal climbs up a different corner. Atlantis moves again, so Lethal climbs up a different corner again. On the fourth try, Atlantis hits a leaping enzuigiri and joins Lethal at the top. Lethal fights back, but Atlantis is able to readjust to a superplex. 

They hit a double clothesline, but neither man goes down. Lethal hits the Lethal Combination and holds onto Atlantis’ ankle. Lethal goes for the Figure Four, but Atlantis grabs an inside cradle. Lethal kicks out and locks on the Figure Four Leglock. Atlantis makes it to the ropes to break up the hold. Lethal kicks at Atlantis’ leg. Lethal goes for the Lethal Injection, but Atlantis catches him and hits a German Suplex.

Atlantis climbs to the top rope, but Lethal moves out of the way. Atlantis jumps to the mat and eats a cutter. Lethal goes for the Lethal Injection again, but eats a dropkick. Atlantis slams Lethal. Atlantis hits a clothesline and climbs to the top rope. Atlantis hits a frog splash for the win!

Winner: Atlantis Jr. 

An All In: Texas commercial airs. 

Leila Grey vs. Marina Shafir

Marina Shafir does not adhere to the Code of Honor. They lock up and Shafir quickly grabs a waistlock and takes Leila Grey down. Shafir grabs an arm, but Grey kips up and drags Shafir over. Grey leaps up to the second rope and hits a spinning arm drag. Shafir sweeps a leg and hits a hard kick to Grey’s chest. Shafir kicks Grey again and then chokes her with her foot in the corner. Shafir whips Grey across the ring and then hits a sidewalk slam. Shafir kicks at Grey and then whips her into the corner.

Shafir tries to whip Grey again, but Grey holds onto the ropes. Shafir knocks Grey down and then hits a running kick for a one count. Shafir hits a judo throw and transitions into an armlock. Shafir gets multiple two counts and then hooks Grey’s heel. Shafir rolls through and transitions to a shoulder stretch. Shafir grabs a leg, as well, but Grey uses her other leg to kick out of the hold. Grey tries to spring up, but Shafir gets out of the way and works Grey over in the corner.

Grey moves out of a strike and hits a high knee. Grey lays in some strikes, but Shafir walks through them. Grey is able to hit a suplex, though, and a rolling neckbreaker. Grey hits a shotgun dropkick, but Shafir shakes it off and hits a big boot. Shafir hits a twisting slam and locks on a head/neck submission for the win!

Winner: Marina Shafir

An AEW Double or Nothing commercial airs.

The Spanish Announce Project vs. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian

Blake Christian kicks away Angelico’s hand during his attempt to follow the Code of Honor. They lock up and Angelico grabs an arm. Christian cartwheels out of it and cranks Angelico’s arm. Angelico reverses and stretches Christian’s arm and then cranks it. Christian counters again, but Angelico uses some hand fighting to reverse. Christian jumps over some Angelico strike attempts, but isn’t able to avoid them all. Angelico grabs an arm and tags in Serpentico. Serpentico climbs to the top rope and hits a double stomp onto Christian’s arm.

The Spanish Announce Project double team Christian. Serpentico hits an inside splash for a two count. Serpentico hits a couple of charging attacks in the corner and then kicks at Christian. Christian is able to shake it off and take down Serpentico. Christian celebrates, but that allows Serpentico to recover and go after Christian. Christian is sent into the ropes and Lee Johnson makes the blind tag.

Christian slides to the floor and Johnson attacks Serpentico from behind. Christian hits a spear on Angelico on the apron. Johnson chokes Serpentico and tags in Christian. Christian and Johnson take turns hitting corner strikes and Christian gets a two count. Christian locks on a neck vice and pulls at Serpentico’s mask. Johnson tags back in and kicks at Serpentico. Johnson drives Serpentico back into the corner and goes for a running strike. Serpentico fights it off and drops Christian on the apron. Serpentico hits a hurricanrana on Johnson and goes for the tag. Johnson grabs him, but Serpentico hits a headbutt and tags in Angelico.

Angelico comes in hot and drops both Johnson and Christian. Angelico takes over Johnson and then leaps off of him to hit a leaping strike on Christian. Johnson and Angelico exchange strikes until Angelico hits a flurry of kicks. Johnson avoids another kick, but Angelico spins into one that connects. Angelico hits a roll up for a two count. Serpentico tags back in as Angelico slams Johnson down. Serpentico hits a Swanton Bomb. Christian breaks up the pin and then exchanges strikes with Serpentico. Serpentico hits a big back hand on Christian.

Johnson lays out Serpentico. Angelico takes out Johnson. Christian superkicks Angelico and then sends him to the floor. Christian goes for a springboard splash, but Serpentico gets his knees up. Serpentico hits a monkey flip on Christian and then moves out of the way of a Johnson attack. Serpentico goes for a monkey flip on Johnson, but is caught. Christian climbs to the top rope and hits a super destroyer on Serpentico. Christian hits a dive on Angelico. Johnson hits a fisherman neckbreaker on Serpentico for the win!

Winners: Lee Johnson and Blake Christian

An AEW at the 2300 Arena commercial airs.

Deonna Purrazzo vs. Ashley Vox - Pure Rules Match

The Code of Honor is adhered to. They lock up and Deonna Purrazzo grabs an arm. Ashley Vox reverses it, but Purrazzo rolls out of the hold. Vox slips under a lock up attempt and grabs an arm, but Purrazzo counters to a wrist lock. Purrazzo drops down to an arm bar, but Vox counters and they exchange holds until Purrazzo grabs an arm on the mat. Vox uses the ropes to break up the hold and loses a rope break.

Vox hits the ropes and is able to grab an arm. Vox puts on the fish hook, as well. Purrazzo sends Vox off. Vox uses the ropes to rebound and drag Purrazzo down. Purrazzo shakes it off and chops Vox. Purrazzo hits a Side Russian Leg Sweep and then grabs a hammerlock/half crab. Vox uses the ropes to break up the hold and loses her second rope break.

Purrazzo ties Vox up in the ropes and then dropkicks her off and to the floor. Purrazzo hits a baseball slide and then goes to the floor, as well. Vox hits a flurry of forearms and sends Purrazzo back into the ring. Vox hits another forearm and then goes for an attack between the ropes. Purrazzo grabs Vox and DDTs her into the ring off of the second rope for a two count. Purrazzo lifts up Vox, but Vox wiggles out. They exchange kicks until Purrazzo hits a clothesline for a two count. Purrazzo clubs down on Vox and then hits a powerbomb. Purrazzo transitions to an armbar. Purrazzo transitions again into a double armbar for the submission win!

Winner: Deonna Purrazzo

Queen Aminata is in the back. She’s been scouting the competition in the ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament. Preparation is key and Aminata isn’t going to let an opportunity go to waste. It’s the people who work the hardest who are successful and Aminata always works hard. Aminata calls out Serena Deeb.

ROH Women’s World TV Champion Red Velvet vs. Laynie Luck - Proving Ground Match

The Code of Honor is followed. They lock up and Red Velvet kicks at Laynie Luck’s foot. They exchange headlocks and Velvet sends Luck to the ropes. Luck tackles Velvet and then gator rolls Velvet. Luck hits a suplex and a running strike in the corner. Luck hits a back elbow and then blocks a cazadora. Luck slams Velvet down and Velvet rolls to the floor. 

Luck goes for a baseball slide, but Velvet catches her in the ring apron. Velvet works Luck over in the apron and then uses Luck as a platform to help herself step up to the ring. Luck gets back in the ring and Velvet rains down punches on her. Velvet jaws with the referee to hide the choke she has on Luck. With Velvet dangling on the second rope, Velvet hits a Meteora. Velvet then works Luck over in the corner with some hard body shots.

Velvet stomps at Luck in the corner and then chokes her. Velvet charges into the corner, but Luck blocks her and hits a running clothesline. Luck hits a spin kick. Luck catches a crossbody attempt by Velvet and hits a Spicolli Driver. Luck climbs up to the second rope, but Velvet cuts her off. Velvet rolls over Luck and hits a kick for a two count. Luck hits an uppercut, but Velvet grabs her and hits a front flip neckbreaker for the win!

Winner: Red Velvet

Satnam Singh vs. Lord Crewe

They lock up and Satnam Singh grabs a headlock. Lord Crewe counters with a bear hug. Singh doesn’t feel a thing. Crewe hits some punches and tries a tackle. Singh drops him easily. Singh hits a hip toss. Singh brings Crewe to the corner and hits a big chop. Singh hits another big chop in another corner. Singh hits one more chop and then a big beal. Singh hits another beal. Singh clubs down on the back of Crewe and then locks on a nerve hold. 

Crewe fights out of it and hits the ropes. Singh doesn’t budge on a tackle attempt. Another tackle by Crewe doesn’t work. Crewe tries a punch, but Singh shakes it off and hits a tackle. Singh charges into the corner, but Crewe gets a knee up. Crewe climbs to the second rope and tries a crossbody. Singh catches him and slams him down. Singh hits a chokeslam for the win!

Winner: Satnam Singh

ROH World Champion Bandido vs. Gringo Loco - Proving Ground Match

The Code of Honor is adhered to. They lock up and Bandido grabs a headlock. He’s sent into the ropes, but he handsprings to safety. Gringo Loco hits the ropes and he rolls to safety. They exchange some brief hip swivels until Bandido hits an inside out hurricanrana. Loco rolls to the floor. Bandido jumps at him from the apron, but Loco catches him. Bandido wiggles out and hits another hurricanrana.

Bandido rolls Loco into the ring and gets a two count. Bandido goes for a suplex, but Loco wiggles out. Bandido hits the ropes and goes for a springboard move, but Loco hits a dropkick for a two count. Loco climbs to the top rope and hits a spinning split legged moonsault for a two count. Loco hits a hard strike, but Bandido fights back. Bandido springboards onto Loco’s shoulders, but Loco hits a powerbomb for a two count. Loco lays in a forearm and hits the ropes. Bandido hits a pump kick and a spinning DDT. 

Bandido climbs up to the top rope and hits a frog splash for a two count. Bandido tries to lift Loco, but can’t. Bandido trips up Loco into the ropes and hits the ropes. Loco reads it and hits a superkick. Loco brings Bandido to the corner and climbs the ropes. He pulls Bandido up with him. Bandido tries to fight back, but Loco headbutts him. Loco hits an inverted Angle Slam from the top rope for a two count. Loco climbs up to the top rope again. Bandido cuts him off with a kick. Bandido climbs to the top rope, as well, and hits a super hurricanrana. Bandido hits a Shining Wizard for the win!

Winner: Bandido
