It is Thursday and AEW Collision is live from the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit MI for a second night. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
Toni Storm comes out for the start of the show and she is in the box seats for her promo. She gives an innuendo laden promo about how much she loves wrestling. She wants to binge title defenses.
Lexi Nair is in the back and she is talking with Paragon. Roderick Strong says reuniting has been harder than they thought. They are interrupted by the Grizzled Young Veterans and say they have gone soft. They challenge Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong to a match and Kyle says they will stomp them down any time they are ready.
Ricochet vs Angelico w/Sirpentico
Zach Gowen is in the crowd and Tony Schivone gives a bit about him as Ricochet is in the ring.
Ricochet delays locking up as per usual. Ricochet going around Angelico into an arm bar into an arm drag for two. Angelico sweeps the leg after Ricochet takes time to shout at the crowd for two. He then gets an arm drag takedown and holds Ricochet on the mat with an arm bar. Ricochet rolls through and gets to his feet and they trade arm bars. Ricochet has to roll to the floor to escape, and they fight on the apron. Ricochet gets a dive onto Angelico onto the floor and Ricochet goes after Sirpentico with a chair as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Ricochet is on top and misses a 450, and he and Angelico trade kicks and knees in the middle until Angelico gets a front slam on Ricochet. Both men struggle to get up and throw hands in the middle of the ring and then run the ropes when they get up. Angelico gets a pair of clotheslines. He grabs an abdominal stretch and smacks Ricochet’s head. He slams Ricochet and then grabs a single leg crab. Ricochet gets to the ropes after Angelico grabs his arm.
They fight in the ropes and Ricochet gets a springboard elbow strike followed by a standing shooting star press for two. Ricochet gets a slam and then sets for the Spirit Gun. Ricochet nails it for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ricochet
Ricochet grabs a mic and tells the crowd to boo him louder and Mocks the Local Sports Team to get more heat. Goes down the list of people he has beaten and he sees Gowen booing him in the front row. Ricochet goes down to talk to him and starts making fun of the fact that Gowen lost a leg in childhood. Security comes down and Ricochet attacks them for getting in his face. Ricochet rolls a security guard into the ring and cuts his hair off. Gowen hops the rial and allows the Security guard to get away.
Ricochet attacks Gowen and then takes his artificial leg when he’s down. Ricochet takes the leg and goes to the back with it.
Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, Lance Archer, and Trent Beretta vs AR Fox, Turbo Floyd, Truth Magnum, and Bandido
Don Callis joins commentary.
Kyle starts off in the ring with Bandido. They lock up and Kyle forces them into the ropes. Bandido reverses it and throws chops, but Kyle runs right through him. They run the ropes and Bandido gets a tejaris takedown. Trent tags in and takes down Bandido and starts beating him down. Rocky tags in and Bandido is able to tag Fox who hits a swan dive. Archer tries for a blackout, but Fox avoids it and the Outrunners tag in to take down Rock and Archer.
Archer gets a double chokeslam as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Truth gets a quick rollup on Kyle for two. Bandido tags in and gets a series of kicks and strikes on Kyle before a tornado front he top. RPG Vice gets into the ring and all four men are fighting in the ring. Kyle’s team is dumped to the floor and Fox leaps from Bandido’s shoulders to the floor and then uses the Outrunners for a leaping dive to the floor as well.
Kyle is rolled into the ring and the Outrunners hit the double bicep elbow. Fox gets a dive onto Kyle front he top as does Bandido for two, broken up by Archer and Rocky. Most of them are brawling on the floor as Bandido tries for a 21 plex in the ring. Kyle is able to go behind and get a dragon suplex. Kyle then avoids a suplex, turning it into a power bomb. The two men crawl to their corners for a tag.
Fox gets a cannonball on Kyle, then hits a fisherman’s buster on Archer. Fox gets a DDT on Archer. Rocky gets into the ring and gets drop-kicked in the corner. Fox follows with a cutter on Beretta after dodging a clothesline. Trent grabs Fox’s leg and Kyle gets a big boot on him. It’s now time for Kyle’s team to try to destroy Fox., but Fox is able to avoid a few attacks, but Archer tosses Fox on the mat from the top.
RPG Vice hits a Jackal Driver on Fox for the pin and the win.
Winners: Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, Lance Archer, and Trent Beretta
Big spotlight for AR Fox, but Callis’s team finally wins as they have the numbers when Bandido and the Outrunners can’t get in the ring to save him.
Mox is in an undisclosed location and says he will get beaten by Samoa Joe, but the question is how long will Joe be able to beat him. No matter what happens to him, Mox knows he has been through worse and he doesn’t need to be feared, he just needs Joe to show up. Mox says there is nowhere else he’d rather be than locked in a cage with the baddest man in pro wrestling. All that matters is who is the last man standing.
Anthony Bowens w/Billy Gunn vs Lee Johnson w/Blake Christian
They trade arm bars and Bowens gets an arm bar take down and a two count, then another. They trade waistlocks and Lee slaps Bowens and Bowens gets ticked off and drops Lee. Bowens throws a series of chops in the corner and then stomps Lee down. Lee goes to the floor and backs off, but backs into Gunn. He apologizes to Gunn and Bowens drops him with a right hand.
Lee is rolled into the ring and when Bowens gets in the ring, Lee gets a kick to the midsection. Bowens answers with kicks and a famouser. Bowens hits a spinning face plant for one. Lee runs into a back elbow. Blake tries to sweep Bowens’s leg, and Bowens is distracted, allowing Lee to dump him to the floor. Lee hits a dive over the top rope and mostly misses Bowens, but he’s up and locking Bowens quickly.
They return to the ring and Lee gets a series of kicks, but Bowens hits a quick series of strikes and Lee drops to the mat. Bowens calls for the Mollywog, and Blake gets on the apron. Bowens grabs him, allowing Lee to get a quick rollup for two. Bowens hits the Mollywog for the pin and the win.
Winner: Anthony Bowens
Blake tries to attack after the bell and Gunn tosses him out of the ring. Bowens grabs a mic and puts himself over. He and Gunn scissor to the delight of the crowd.
Gates of Agony, Bishop Kaun and Toa Leona come to the ring in street clothes and call out Big Bill and Bryan Keith and say they are going to walk through them to redeem themselves to win Chris Jericho back. They challenge them to fight, not in the parking lot, but right here, right now.
Bill and Keith oblige them.
The fight quickly spills to the floor and they crawl around the ring. Keith and Kaun fight on the ramp and Kaun uses a crucifix bomb onto tables by the ramp. The fight continues up the ramp with security trying to pull them apart. Leona then gets a spear onto Bill into tables on the other side of the ramp.
We then get a hype video for the feud between Anna Jay and Harley Quinn vs Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne.
Kris Statlander vs Willow Nightingale
They start with a recap video of their feud.
They start by shoves at each other and then they trade headlocks. Willow whips Kris down and they go to waistlocks. Willow slams Kris again. Willow boops Kris and Kris slaps her. Kris then trips Willow and covers the way Willow does for two. They get to their feet and start slapping and then move to chops. Willow hits an insigiri and then slams Kris’s head into all four turnbuckles.
Willow gets a snap mare and follows by whipping Kris into the ropes, and Kris gets a sunset flip for two, followed by a second two count. They throw hands again and Willow gets a back slide for two. They trade quick two counts back and forth. Kris runs up the ropes for a leaping back elbow for two.
Willow gets a pounce and Kris is knocked to the floor. Willow then hits a cannonball from the apron and high-fives the crowd. Kris reverses a suplex and they both roll into the ring to break the count at 6 as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Willow hits a suplex and Kris then hits one as well. They run into each other and both go down. They trade charges into the corner and then kicks in the middle of the ring. Willow gets a spinebuster for two. They fight in the corner and then the middle of the ring and trade a pair of two counts. Kris gets a mule kick for two.
Willow gets a Death Valley Driver for two. Willow then gets three in the corner before Kris escapes out the bottom and they fight to the top. Kris gets an avalanche super plex from the top and then waits for Willow to get up. Willow gets up and gets a big lariat. Willow gets the gut wrench pick up and a power slam and Kris rolls to the floor.
Marina Shafir hits the ring with a chain and goes after Willow. She leaves the ring and Kris gets into the ring for Staturday Night Fever pile driver, the pin, and the win.
Winner: Kris Statlander.
The announcers say that Statlander did not know Shafir interfered. She slowly leaves the ring, looking sad.
We get a hype video for the return of Skye Blue.
Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita vs the Already In The Ring Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds
Uno and Alex just get beat down once the bell rings, so I guess the Dark Order isn’t going to have a big comeback. The announcers put over that Uno and Alex are being beaten down to send a message to Adam Page.
Uno gets a hot tag, He and Alex get a little offended before Takeshita runs through them like a buzz saw. Josh hits a double underhook power slam for the pin and the win.
Winners: Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita
We get a video recap of the MJF/Hurt Syndicate storyline.
Speedball Mike Bailey vs Dralistico
They lock up and Dralistco forces them to the corner and he breaks with a series of blows. He charges into the corner and Speedball grabs his leg and when they run the ropes, Speedball takes him down with a kick. They tumble to the floor and trade kicks and strikes. Speedball gets a springboard moonsault from the second rope onto Dralistico on the floor. Speedball lays in chops and Dralistico stops him with thumbs to the eyes and then a hurricanrana into the steel steps as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Dralistico chokes Speedball in the ropes; He then hits a series of kicks and Speedball starts to fire back. They trade chops in the corner. They turn to kicks in the corner. Dralistico says bring it and they go to the middle of the ring and trade kicks. Speedball hits the speed kicks and Speedball finally gets a thrust kick and both men are down.
Speedball is up first and lays in kicks. Speedball hits a running shooting star for two. He then hits a falcon arrow and goes to the top. He misses a 450, and Dralistico grabs him for a crucifix pin for two. They trade quick rollups for two. They dodge moves from each other until Draloistico gets a crucifix bomb. Bailey is able to get a destroyer when Dralistico grabs him. Dralistico gets a twisting insigiri and they go to the apron.
Speedball gets the backflip knees on Dralistico and then his spinning heel kick for the pin and the win.
Winner: Speedball Mike Bailey
Rush comes to the stage after the match is over in a suit and Speedball draws a line in the ring, but Rush stays on the stage.
Daniel Garcia vs Dax Harwood w/Cash Wheeler and Stokely
They lock up and Garcia forces them to the corner where he wants to go after Dax, but Garcia breaks after tapping Dax in the chest. They lock up again and Dax forces them to the corner and he breaks with a right-hand strike. Dax lays in another right fist and then starts beating Garcia in the corners. Garcia and Dax trade chops back and forth.
They run the ropes and Dax gets a shoulder tackle Garcia gets a double leg pickup and lays in blows and then whips Dax to the corner and runs into an uppercut. Dax gets a swinging neckbreaker. He follows by dropping knees on Garcia. Ax tries for a pile driver, but Garcia blocks it. Dax lays in chops and knocks Garcia to the floor. Dax follows him and tries for the pile driver again. Garcia is able to escape and catapults Dax into the ringpost.
Dax is busted open and Garcia lays in two drop-kicks and a running knee lift. Cash steps in and protects Dax, but that allows Dax to get a big clothesline. Dax rolls Garcia into the ring and brings in the ring bell. The ref takes it away from him and that allows Garcia to get a dragon tames, but Stokely is distracting the ref and Cash attacks Garcia behind the ref’s back.
Matt Menard comes to the ring and goes after Cash, running him into the crowd as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Dax is mocking Garcia with kicks and then shouting at him. Garcia slowly gets to his feet and takes the slaps from Dax before grabbing him and then laying in chops until Dax is leaning on the ropes. Garcia hits two clotheslines and Dax stays on his feet, Dax hitting Garcia on the third time. Garcia gets a leaping clothesline to knock Dax to the mat. They struggle to their feet, and Garcia is able to get ten in the corner.
Garcia grabs Dax and Dax holds onto the turnbuckle pad, pulling it off. Garcia gets a belly to back suplex for two. Garcia tries for the dragon tamer, but Dax gouges his eyes. Dax knocks him into the unprotected turnbuckle. Dax then gets a slingshot slam for two. Dax goes to the top and Garcia meets him there. Garcia gets an avalanche superplex and then puts Dax on top for another one. Garcia keeps his hold and puts Dax up again for a third.
Both men are down and Garcia rolls onto Dax for the cover and Dax gets a boot on the rope at two. Dax gets a right hand. Garcia screams before he batters him to the floor and then fights him into the crowd. They fight to the commentary table and Dax slaps the back of Nigel's’ head. Nigel gets up and Dax dares him to punch him. Nigel puts his headset on and says he is retired and Dax hits him again.
Dax drags Garcia to the ring and Garcia gets Dax in position for a pile driver, but Dax is fighting it. Dax is still fighting and is able to reverse it as Stokely gets on the apron to argue with the ref. Nigel leaves commentary and runs to the ring, leaping onto the apron. Dax tosses Garcia aside to confront Nigel, and Nigel gets into the ring and gets an uppercut. Cash gets into the ring and Nigel twists his arm to drop him to the mat.
Garcia clotheslines Dax to the floor and they stand tall in the ring.
No Contest: Referee has thrown the match out.
