Hulk Hogan, while promoting the new Freestyle Wrestling project he and Eric Bischoff are working on, namechecked "Benjamin Shelton" as talents he is a fan of with a great collegiate background.
While Benjamin Shelton has yet to comment, AEW star Shelton Benjamin has and well, he didn't take kindly to the compliment:

In his Tweet, Benjamin is referring to comments made to the WWE locker room when he was brought back following his suspension for the racist comments made on the sex tape when Hogan was unknowingly recorded by former friend Bubba the Love Sponge. As we reported at the time, what was expected to be Hogan's apology to the locker room was more along the lines of Hogan warning the talents to be careful because they never know when they could be recorded.
